Path of Exile item upgrading (look these up)
Best item upgrader upgrading allows players to upgrade their weapons and gear with new affixes that boost its base stats or providing additional benefits. To upgrade an item, the player has to have it in their inventory and have access to the kiln.
Typically objects that have weak bases (like rings) can be upgraded to a more powerful base, while objects with strong bases, such as eth titans do not vary much in their stats after being upgraded.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors trinkets, weapons and gathering tools. They can be used as an attribute bonus or extra effect, while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, retrieved in loot from enemies, or received from missions and chests. Some upgrades additionally have special cosmetic effects. Most upgrades require that the equipment be at a certain level before you can upgrade.
To upgrade an armor, weapon or other item in the game, players will have to select it and click the upgrade items button on the toolbar. The screen will show on the right-hand side of the screen a preview of the expected upgrade stats as well as the necessary component or materials.
There are three kinds of upgrade components that are universal upgrades, prefix upgrades, and suffix upgrades. Universal upgrades, like gems, are able to be used on any kind of equipment. They offer a lesser bonus than upgrade components that have a type restriction. Infusions are only placed in gear that is ascended and legendary equipment, are the same as gems, but offer higher bonuses and cannot be used in any other kind of equipment. Suffix upgrades can be added to gathering tools. They will add the suffix at the end of the item's name. For instance adding a Glyph would make the staff wrapping of Minor Vigor a Canthan staff wrapping of Minor Vigor.
If a player upgrades a gathering tool and replaces glyphs with another glyph, the old one will be returned to their inventory. However, replacing any other upgrade component can destroy it, excluding inscriptions which can be freely swapped.
Leveling
Path of Exile's upgrade system is different from previous versions in several important ways. Gear is now divided into tracks, and items can only be upgraded a set number of times before they're "leveled out." The costs for upgrading increase with each level, but the materials needed do not. This lets players focus their efforts on a couple of key items and maximize their impact rather than spreading out the upgrade item costs across multiple pieces.
This allows the item to receive new upgrade components, and have a greater chance of success. This bonus is known as Artisan's Energy. It will reset to 0 if the upgrade fails or increases if the upgrade succeeds.
Once a piece is upgraded to its maximum level, it will be able to receive the affixes needed to enhance its abilities. The amount of affixes available is determined by the item's kind. For instance the rare or exclusive weapon with a base that is normal will only have two affixes for it, while a legendary armor will have up to eight affixes available for it.
Each upgrade will require a specific amount of Flightstones or Crests, depending on the type of item at its current level, and in which slot it is placed in. Typically, weapons will require more Flightstones to upgrade than other types of equipment.
If an item fails to reach its maximum level, the NPC gives the player the option to transfer it to a different character and then re-infuse it with a different set or upgrades. This procedure can take as long as two hours and will cost the same amount of materials. However it has a lower chance of success.
To determine the height of a structure, engineers will utilize a level to compare the measurement to an established reference point, like a benchmark, or the elevation of the ground. This method is known as a "level-loop." It involves taking readings with the level, backsighting rod and then turning the level to take the foresighting rod reading. This method helps ensure that buildings are constructed to a high level of accuracy and safety.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process of altering the upgrade components of an item. It is a very important element of the game, and it can boost the damage, strength, or other attributes. This can be done via the menu for items or by pressing the Reroll button of an upgraded item. Rerolling is costly and should only be done in very rare instances.
Reroll tokens are derived by recycling upgraded items. These tokens can be used to upgrade the original item or an similar item. Recyclable items come with an indicator that indicates the level of upgrade. The rarity and cost of upgrading an item determines the level of filling.
In the past, some upgrade items were affixed with priority that made them easier to roll for than other. It meant that you'd get the most crucial stats to your build more frequently than other items. This included stats like armor's total armour, thorns and diminished duration due to control or the weapons' bonus attack speed and crit strike chance.
This has changed since the most recent patch. Priority affixes have been removed and all upgrades will have the same chance of rolling for each stat. This can be a good or bad thing depending on your needs and expectations from your equipment.
Each upgraded item can have a unique fixed-value bonus that boosts its power by a certain percentage. These bonuses are added to normal affixes. The more you upgrade your product, the better your chance of obtaining the bonus of a different kind.
The game also includes number sets that give an extra bonus when three or four upgraded items from the set are installed on a unit. This is a great method to add lots of power to a character without spending a lot of money.
Many players reroll their weapons and gear particularly in the initial stages. Rerolling is a method to gain a stronger character faster, which allows players to advance in the game and achieve higher levels.
Sets
Sets are collections that can be arranged in different ways. They can have various sizes, contain no elements at all or contain just one element. They can be used to organize data or separating information. They are also useful in studying patterns. Sets can be classified in a variety of ways in terms of size and shape.
The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom provides an extensive selection of set items that can be upgraded. Certain items are worth upgrading while others aren't. Upgrades are worthwhile for armor sets that provide high defense values and set bonuses. However, weapon upgrades often don't improve the stats of the item when compared to their counterparts in purple. This makes them less attractive to upgrade if your collection of weapons and armor pieces is already large.
Certain set items are upgraded to meet their unique procs, which can be particularly useful in certain builds. This is evident in Aldur's Advance Boots and Guillaume's Face. Both were upgraded to Exceptional Winged Helms and Exceptional Mirrored Boots, respectively. This increased their defense from 217 to 321. (Strength requirements and Level requirements were also increased).
Upgrades can also be done to bring certain items up to the level of the levels. For example, the Immortal King set has a vast range of levels, ranging from 29 to 76. Upgrades to lower-level items of the set can boost their defense and make them more competitive in terms of damage.
Clicking the Upgrade button will show the item's attributes and the items required to upgrade it. This will display the Best item upgrade's features, as well as the items needed to upgrade it. For example the No-mouth Face will require 1.1K Scrap Materials and 250 Enchanted Dust and 5 Glowing Shards to upgrade. Players can also check the upgrade requirements for specific items at the Cyrodiil Golden vendor or Leaderboard.
In general, weapons and armor have a higher trade value when fully updated. Particularly, for weapons that feature damage glyphs that are spell-like or weapon-related and are upgraded to gold is recommended since it will provide a significant increase in their performance. Armor that has an upgraded appearance will also benefit from this, since its defense value will increase as it goes from purple to gold.
