1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and best robotic mop and vacuum combos on the market. It uses lidar to navigate and create maps of rooms and floors (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean application that lets you set schedules and customize the S1's behaviour.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which includes linoleum in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms and a medium-pile and a large rug. It was capable of driving up to walls and even across raised thresholds without issue. However, it had some difficulty getting down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors, with its mop driving effortlessly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it was near carpet or rugs.
The docking station of the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. The dock adds a deep-cleaning solution for the water. The S1's tank of water holds enough water for around a dozen cleaning sessions before it needs to be emptied, though it will differ based the amount you use the mop.
Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires periodic maintenance to ensure that it's operating efficiently. To do this, you'll need to clean the water tank that is dirty regularly to prevent it from clogging. It is also necessary to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to prevent them from getting clogged by dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combos which require more effort to maintain.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robot vacuum and mop combo from Ecovacs is a great choice for your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum is best rated robot vacuum at 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with a number of innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning to avoid obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are impressive. Rotating mop pads actually lift floors and scrub it instead of just moving a pad across the surface. The mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station when required.
This robot has an easy-to-use interface that guides you throughout the process. It comes with a rechargeable hand vacuum to reach those areas the robot can't reach, as well as two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled when required. It comes with a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.
The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up all kinds of debris, including the smaller pieces of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are good, too, even though it can sometimes get caught up on the tiny area mats or rugs that I have in my house (which is something you can mitigate by creating a virtual boundary in the app). Its mopping capabilities are also very good, with a pair spinning mops which can lift and scrub the floor instead of simply drag the pad across it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water, and dried in the basestation whenever required. Mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as needed.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. However, their latest flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It is a great robotic cleaner and mop and is simple to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our list of the top mops and robot vacuums. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure that a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, removing large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests well, avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping capability of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that automatically swings out in order to reach areas that are difficult to reach, and mop pads that extend along baseboards.
Its navigation is smart it can navigate tight spaces and negotiating stairs without missing a beat. It can easily move from one room to another without changing direction which is a great feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance technology isn't as advanced than its competitors, however, and tends to leave a large margin around obstacles, which could result in missed spots.
The interface of the app is simple and easy to use. It should be simple to use for both novices and experienced users. The app lets you schedule and manage cleanings, change mopping and suction power settings, view 2D and 3D maps, and much more. It can be operated through the app, Alexa, Google Assistant, or Siri, allowing you to monitor its progress from anywhere. You can even remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. You'll require a stable WiFi connection to use the app and external controls.
4. Roomba Q5 pro
A best robot vacuum that mops vacuum does an excellent job of picking up dirt and debris but it's not always able to be able to reach every bit of dust. It's important to vacuum often, at least once a week. This is particularly important for dust that collects in corners, on shelves, and in crevices in your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro is a 2-in-1 vacuum and mop robot designed specifically for this purpose. It's easy to connect it to your Wi-Fi at home network and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more useful addition to your daily cleaning routine.
The Q5 is a stripped-down version of the company's more expensive S-series models. It includes the flagship Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensor, but saves on price by eliminating mopping functions and using a cheaper plastic body.
Even though it's not able to mop floors, the Q5 has the most impressive mopping and vacuum performance we've seen on a robot at this price. It's got a powerful suction power of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to empty the bin manually every time. It also has a clever app that lets you set your floor's type and schedule cleanings, as well as an automatic water tank refill and wash system to allow hands-free operation.
The mops also stand out, with a 2700Pa capacity to combat pet hair and dirt on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have trouble with high-pile carpets and area carpets, but it didn't remove cables or kitty litter and cable tangles, which isn't a surprise given that it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that helps it reach tight spaces and corners that other vacuums can't. The K10 Plus also is able to collect more dust in a larger bin, so you don't need to empty it as often. It also has washable filters which can further cut costs. The robot is also able to detect carpets and boost the suction if required. The app also lets you to mark areas you want to stay clear of this is a useful feature.
