World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades can boost the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and PvE Damage.
If the weapon's upgrade template ends in %, it will increase an additional 3% of the previous damage for every time it's upgraded.
The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the item's current level. The cost increases with item's level.
Components
Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets in order to provide a stat bonus or extra impact while they're being used. They can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors trading, or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can only be used on devices that have slots. The item must be at least upgraded to blue level before a component can be applied. upgrade item components, unlike other mods can only be applied only once. They are not able to be replaced or applied multiple times. Infusions and Enrichments are kind of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and Ascended equipment, as well in some items that aren't ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment that is ascended or completing a mission in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

Each upgrade increases the probability that a better-quality version of the item will be dropped during the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're not sure of how much it will improve after a future reset.
Whether a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process can be expensive, and there is a substantial chance that the item could become obsolete or even break if it fails. A failure to upgrade can cause the destruction of the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder, as well as the upgraded item. Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens in order to do this. This causes the item to be exchanged for a new one, which will have an initial level and a different set of extra bonuses. This can be useful however it should not be repeated often since it can be a waste of resources.
Certain upgrades can be rerolled multiple times which increases their value and allowing the player to customize their equipment. When an item is upgraded the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item are dependent on its rarity score and upgrade slot count. The cost of upgrading equipment that is not premium is equal to its value. For example an item of common use could have five upgrades at a cost of. 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items have lower costs per upgrade.
Premium items may require different upgrades than normal equipment. For example they might require less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. The player will still need to bring every piece of equipment they wish to upgrade to the NPC [Armor] Boboko located in Central Flarine. In addition to the upgrade cost mentioned above, each equipment upgrade will require a different amount of the ingredients for upgrading.
