The best travel double stroller (Continued) Twin Buggy
This inline double is designed to grow with your family and you. It has multiple seating options that can be used for twins or children of different age groups. The tires are filled with foam and will not flatten, and the soft suspension is perfect for the kerbs.
It is easy to travel because it folds down super-flat and it satisfies the weight requirements of gate-checks for airlines. It also comes with a huge underseat storage basket and four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
The Leclerc influencer is a great option for those who fly. Its sleek design, auto-folding and cabin approved dimensions make it a great option. Its folded (and unfolded) width is 47cm, which is slightly more than the IATA standard of 45cm. However, it still meets the airline's hand luggage regulations and can be stored in the overhead lockers during flights (Subject to Airline approval). It was easy to clean using the aid of a wipe, and there were plenty of other items such as nappy bags, footmuffs, and buggie organiser bags that clip on to the handles, and hoods with UV50+ protection.
We love it's so small when folded down, and how it is able to fit easily into tiny spaces like shops, narrow alleyways and Jane's tiny terrace house - and it's even more convenient to maneuver up and down the stairs. The bumper bar can double as a carry handle and there's an enormous, flip-flop-friendly brake with a colour indicator. The basket is smaller than other models, but it can still accommodate a large changing bag. There are also additional tray for storing snacks, drinks and toys.
It's suitable from the time of birth and can be used with a Leclerc Baby Carrycot or car seat with adaptors (sold separately). The clever backrest can be folded down to make it ideal for long walks or naps. The 5-point harness that is magnetic makes it simple to use. It's also light at 6.6kg and comes with an extra bag for travel.
Joie Evalite Duo
The British brand Joie is on a mission to "share the joy of new parents" by designing pushchairs that are "functional, stylish and innovative". The Evalite Duo is their latest twin buggy. It's designed to accommodate two kids side-by-side unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has seats that are raised so both kids can be able to see the world around them.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg, making it one of the most lightweight strollers for children on the market. It is suitable from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's simple to fold and lift, drive and ride. The frame's clever design expands to accommodate the second child seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding is an outstanding feature. They were amazed by the speed and ease with which the Evalite Duo comes together. However, they did notice that it's more difficult to navigate bumps and rough terrain than other models.
They also note that the front seat doesn't fully recline and they had to make use of their hands to pull it back down which they don't want to have to do when travelling with small children. Nonetheless, they say the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that could be perfect with some tweaks. They also appreciate that it's compact and compact when folded!
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that offers parents all the options they require. It is compatible with a variety of car seats, and folds effortlessly by using a single-click mechanism. It also comes with a variety of accessories that other brands charge for separately, such as liners and rain covers.
iCandy's Peach pushchair is a favored choice for parents who want to be fashionable due to its stylish and contemporary premium jersey fabrics. The 2022 version of the Peach has been upgraded with a few minor tweaks to increase efficiency and performance without sacrificing style.
The inclusion of a ride-on board makes this the perfect option for twins. It is also a little more compact than older Peach model, yet it still offers all the space your child may require.
This is the perfect double stroller for you if you want something stylish and versatile. It can be used as a single pram from birth and then buy the stokke double stroller kit to make it into a twin stroller. It has a large basket as well as five reclining positions that ensure the best comfort for your child. It also comes with an integrated carry strap as well as a one-handed folding mechanism. It's heavy to store, particularly since it folds in two parts instead of just one.
iCandy Orange
This is one of the most comfortable twin buggies on the market. The seats are well-padded and come with luxurious footmuffs or liners which will keep your little ones cosy in cold weather. The carrycot is able to be fitted onto the Orange chassis easily with gates that open and is spacious and comfortable. Orange chassis can accommodate 30 different combinations of the seat and carrycot.
The wheels are made to handle rough roads and terrain. It also comes with a large shopping basket that's ideal for large supermarkets. This pushchair is comfortable to drive and has a light feel, and the pedal brake that is rounded is easy to use (but it's not flip-flop-friendly). The latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to open. After it's folded, the front wheels slide into the basket, and the chassis will be able to stand up with ease.
The Orange is a great choice for parents who are style-conscious and have a baby, toddler or both. They want a buggy that can grow with their child. It's an excellent option for parents who anticipate an additional child in the near future and need a double pram buggy pushchair that is flexible. The iCandy Orange is not cheap, but it's versatile enough that it will last for some time and also have a good resale value as well. It's also available with a buggy, which should reduce the amount of siblings fighting over seats.
Mountain Buggy Duet
Mountain Buggy, founded by an Australian and a member of the Mokopuna Group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger, is the first company in the world of prams to focus on two all-terrain pushchairs double. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is sleek and slim, able to fit through the doorways and move easily in tight aisles. It is one the most compact and full-featured double buggies that are available and has been awarded numerous awards, including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
Its narrow seats are spacious enough for children of various ages to sit together comfortably, and the seats are reclineable, so children can pick their preferred position. The large canopy has the ability to flip out sun visors, and the storage basket is very roomy. It works with most brands and can accept two car seat adapters for infants with the purchase of car seats.
The only drawback is the weight. At 32.4 pounds, it's difficult to lift into and out of the trunk and might be difficult for Grandma to maneuver. It is priced higher than other double travel buggy side-by-side buggies. It is built to last and it offers many features for its price. It's an excellent choice for parents in urban areas who don't want to lug around a bulky stroller. The straps are padded, with a 5-point buckle and straps that are padded ensure safety for infants.
Bugaboo Donkey twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with an elegant design. It's a great product, but it's not without flaws.
It offers very few extra features, both for kids and parents. There's a tiny side bin beside the seat that can only be used when one seat is attached - and that's the only feature it provides. There aren't any parent tray, cup holders or accessory pockets, and this could cause problems when you travel for a long time.
The seats aren't able to recline to a completely flat position and the gap between them is quite large which is why our 5 year old experienced difficulty lying back comfortably. It's a shame, considering it's a high-end model.
On the bright side, it's a easy to maneuver, and the swivel wheels work well for climbing up slopes and steps. It's also slim enough to fit through most doors and folds up easily for storage and transportation. It can also be switched into mono mode with just three clicks should you ever need some more room or want to make a quick getaway. It can even accommodate a third child using the comfort wheeled board should you're required to. It's pricey, however if you're on a budget there are other options out there. It's worth it though when you're a big fan of the brand and have the money to spend.
