This projector has excellent grayscale OOTB, with its smallest DeltaE errors being 2.3 (which is not visible to the trained eye). It also displayed a number of subtle color differences, such as when Adam struck his light-staff into the ground.
Other features include 3D Support, Keystone Correction and Automatic Focus. These features ease installation and setup. It also supports BenQ's standard setup options. However, it does not include a lens shift feature or vertical focus. It has the ability to digitally alter images that can be useful in less than ideal settings however it can affect the image quality.
GP500 Platinum
The GP500 comes with a number of convenience and quality-of-life features that are common, but some not as common features, like Keystone and Corner Fit, which digitally alters the image for less than ideal installation, an Toslink audio out jack, which mutes the built in speaker when headphones or another speaker system are plugged in, and Bluetooth that allows the GP500 to function wirelessly as a receiver for music. 3D playback is also supported as well.
Subjectively, I discovered that the GP500 had very accurate grayscale OOTB. I found an DeltaE value of 2.3 which is lower than the amount that is visible to the eye. This is quite good. The Dynamic Contrast function really added depth to Life of Pi's few night scenes, and the color display was excellent. Avatar was also very impressive.
GP500 Black
The GP500 is Pinlock Max Vision-ready and tear-off-ready and has opening tabs on both sides of the shield. It also comes with a shield lock to stop it from opening while riding (or in the event of an accident). There's a double-d ring fastener on the rear of the helmet and it's tool-free.
The auto-focus feature was extremely quick and it worked well creating clear, crisp images that had lots of distinct shades. It struggled with the darker scenes in Life of Pi, but it did give a cinematic vibe.
There aren't any race rep graphics for the GP500 but you can buy Airoh Sectors and Cosmos in a black finish. You can also purchase it with Rockstar Drive and Check graphics to give it a more track-focused look.

This model also features incredibly sturdy puncture-proof tyres, which will help avoid flats while out and out and about.
The built-in DLP Link glasses can also be used to enable 3D playback. It's great to see this projector still offer this feature, considering that some brands have dropped it.
The GP500 White also has several common and some not-so-common quality-of-life features, such as Keystone and Corner Fit (which is digital image warping). These features are useful for installations that aren't ideal as they make it easier to display a flat image. They can, however, degrade the quality of images. This is an important consideration to be aware of. The GP500 produced very clear and distinct colors, and also provided excellent grayscale performance OOTB.
