However, this doesn't increase the weapon's damage output, but can reduce its value for trading.

To upgrade item an Best item upgrade you must spend flightstones and crests. The amount of each depends on the item's level and slot. Upgrades to swords, for instance will cost more flightstones compared to an upgrade to the cloth. Also, you can get discounts on the number of flightstones or crests needed to upgrade an item.

Universal upgrades are upgrades that can be applied to any kind of equipment. This includes weapons, armor and trinkets. Upgrade components can be obtained from Random drops or side quests. Universal upgrades can be temporary or permanent, and can be combined with Power Ups. They can be linear or branching.

Universal Upgrades start when "internal technology" can give sentient beings new capabilities that they are not likely to develop naturally. Examples of internal technology include prostheses or implants. This type of improvement is not the same as medical internal technology, which is designed to restore the natural capabilities. Rather, it represents the beginning of an upgrade process that changes civilizations in a fundamental way. The universal upgrade is a lengthy and complex process. The process can be divided into two types: complete success and partial failure.

It's similar to the way resort upgrades work at Disney or Universal. In the case of WDW these upgrades are usually due to operational needs such as room availability or overbooking. Like other upgrade components jewels can be inserted into an item using an appropriate socket to increase the. A Garnet Jewel and a Garnet Stone both boost power, but a Garnet Jewel also boosts a player's strong attacks. Jewels can be placed in all levels of weapon, armor, and accessory slots, as well as certain trinkets that are exotic or lower rarity that require an unused slot.

Requirements
