Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the stats of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capability in PvP and/or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced with an identical item however with different bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. They don't maintain the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on an item that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can roll their equipment into three aspects: physical power, magic power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by melee and weapons, while spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you need a higher-quality reroll token. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next success result is to be rerolled. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display an explanation and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop can swap blueprints for a new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During the course of a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on chosen Franchise Cards. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After selecting the Best item upgrade to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take anywhere from seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the longevity of the item. This makes it an excellent way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without straining their accounts. By clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded item to the new gear.
New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of methods to get the stones. You can complete contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Additionally players can break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will receive a higher level. This process can continue until the item reaches its highest level.
Items that have upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item at once. Each upgrade component will require a certain number of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, an image of the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an best item upgrade is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available for it. Likewise, once a piece of gear reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for the track will be offered at discounts.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to offer an attribute bonus or extra effect when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, obtained through questing or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this could ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item will vary based on the type of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This gives them additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" for example, increases base defense and provides an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Some items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats and more for the fact that it lets players get the most value from a perfect roll on the item. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade items component that is incorporated into the item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item upgrading.
The game will add an item in your inventory once you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
