The best compact double stroller Twin Buggy
Built to adapt to your family's needs this inline double features different seating options and is suitable for twins or children of various ages. Its foam-filled tires never flatten, and its soft suspension is perfect for the kerbs.
It folds flat and is in compliance with airline gate-check weight requirements making it easy to carry. It also has a massive underseat storage basket, as well as a four-panel sun canopy.
Leclerc Influencer
With its sleek design, auto-folding and cabin-approved dimensions, the Leclerc Influencer is a great option for flyers. Its folded (and unfurled) width is 47cm. It is slightly bigger than the IATA standard 45cm. But, it is in compliance with the regulations for hand luggage of airlines. It can be kept in overhead lockers during flights (subject to airline approval). We found it easy to clean with a simple wipe down and there were plenty of extras available like footmuffs, nappy and buggy bags that are strapped onto handles and hoods, providing UV50+ protection.
We love it's compact twin stroller when collapsed, and that it is able to fit easily into small spaces like shops narrow alleyways, and Jane's tiny terrace - and it's even more convenient to maneuver up and down the stairs. The bumper bar doubles up as a carry handle, and there's an ample, flip-flop-friendly brake with a colour indicator. The basket is smaller than the other models, but it will still hold a large changing bag. There are additional tray compartments to store drinks, snacks and toys.
It is suitable from birth. Adaptors are available separately to use it in conjunction with the Leclerc Baby Carrycot. For older children there's an innovative backrest that flattens, making it ideal for extended nap times or walks. The 5-point harness with magnets is simple to use. It's also light, weighing only 6.6kg. A travel bag is included.
Joie Evalite Duo
The British brand Joie is on a mission to "share joy with new parents" by creating pushchairs which are "functional and stylish, as well as innovative". The Evalite Duo, their latest twin buggy, is Joie's most recent offering. It's designed to take two kids side-by-side unlike the slightly heavier Aire Twin, and has seats that are raised so both children can view the world around them.
The Evalite Duo weighs just under 10kg and is one of most lightweight strollers for children available. It is suitable from birth and can be used with Joie car seats or carrycots (with the Instant Sure Lock attachment). It's easy to fold or lift, drive, and ride. The clever frame expands to accommodate a second child seat.
Out 'n' about says the Evalite Duo's one-handed folding feature is a highlight. They were amazed by how quickly and effortlessly the Evalite Duo comes together. However, they did notice that it's a bit more difficult to navigate bumps and rough terrain than other models.
The front seat can't fully recline and the parents were forced to use their hands to lower it. This is something they would prefer to avoid when traveling with children. However, they believe that the Evalite Duo is a great pushchair that can be made perfect with some adjustments. And they appreciate that it's compact and compact when folded!
iCandy Peach
iCandy Peach is a highly-sophisticated tandem buggy that offers parents all the options they need. It is compatible with many car seats and folds up easily using a one-click mechanism. It comes with a variety of additional features, such as liners and raincovers. Rival brands charge separately for these.
iCandy's Peach pushchair is a favored choice for parents who are fashion-conscious due to its stylish and contemporary premium jersey fabrics. The new 2022 Peach has been updated with minor tweaks to enhance performance and functionality without sacrificing style.
One of the biggest improvements to the current Peach is the addition of a ride-on board which makes it a fantastic option for twins. It is also a little smaller than the previous Peach model, but it still provides all the space your children might require.
This is a great double stroller for those who want something sleek and adaptable. You can use it as a single to double buggy stroller from birth and then buy the double kit to make it into a twin buggy. It also comes with a large basket and five recline positions to ensure maximum comfort for your children. It also comes with a one-handed fold and an integrated carry strap. The only issue is that it's somewhat heavy to carry around when not in use in particular since it folds into two parts instead of one.
iCandy Orange
This is the most comfortable twin buggy you can get. The seats are well padded and can be outfitted with luxury footmuffs or liners that will keep your little ones cosy in cold weather. The carrycot is able to be fitted onto the Orange chassis easily with gates that open and is spacious and comfortable. The seat and carrycot are set up in various configurations, and the Orange chassis can accommodate an incredible 30 different possible combinations.
The wheels are designed to withstand rough and paved terrain, and there's an enormous shopping basket underneath which is ideal for shopping at large supermarkets. The pushchair is smooth to drive with a lightweight feel, and the pedal brake that is rounded is simple to use (but not a flip-flop-friendly model). The latch that keeps it folded needs two hands to open. After it's folded, the front wheels tuck under the basket and the chassis can free-stand without difficulty.
The Orange is best suited for parents who are fashion-conscious and have children or toddlers and want a buggy that'll be able to adapt to them. It's an excellent choice for parents expecting a second hand double buggy baby in the near future and would like a double pushchair that's adaptable. The iCandy Orange is not cheap but it's flexible enough that it should last for several years and will have a high resale price too. It also comes with a buggy board which should aid in reducing sibling rivalries over seats!
Mountain Buggy Duet
The company was founded by an Australian, Mountain Buggy (part of the Mokopuna group, which also owns Phil and Teds and Baby Jogger) is the first pram brand that focuses on all-terrain double pushchairs. The Duet side-by-side twin stroller is sleek and slim that can fit through the doorways and move easily in tight aisles. It is among the smallest, fully-featured lightest double stroller buggies on the market and has won numerous awards including 2014 Mother & Baby Twin Gold and the 2015 Prima Baby Twin Silver.
The seats are wide enough to allow children of varying ages to sit comfortably together. They also have an independent reclining so that kids can select their preferred position. The large canopies come with the ability to flip out sun visors and the storage basket is very roomy. It is compatible with nearly all brands and can accept two infant car seat adapters with the purchase of car seats.
The only drawback is the weight. At 32.4 pounds, it is heavy to lift in and out of the trunk and could be difficult for Grandma to maneuver. And, it is more expensive than most other side-by-side double buggies. However, it has been made to last and has a lot of features for the price. It is a good choice for urban parents who wish to avoid carrying a heavy stroller around. And, the straps that are padded and buckles with five points ensure safety for babies.
Bugaboo Donkey twin
The Bugaboo Donkey Twin Umbrella Stroller is a stylish, functional and beautiful buggy with a elegant design. It's a top-quality product, but it's not without flaws.
For one, it has very little in terms of additional conveniences for the kids and the parents. There's a small side bin next to the seat that can only be used when one seat is attached and that's all the feature it provides. There aren't any cups, tray for parents or accessory pockets. This could be a problem for long trips.
The seats don't lie flat and the gap between the seats is quite large. Our 5-year-old had difficulty lying back comfortably. It's a shame, considering it's a high-end model.
On the bright side, it's a easy to maneuver, and the swivel wheels work well for climbing up slopes and steps. It's also slim enough to fit into most doorways, and it folds easily for easy storage and transportation. It can also be switched back to mono mode with just three clicks if you ever need some more room or need to get away. The comfort wheeled board can also accommodate an additional child if needed. It's expensive, but for those on a budget there are other options available there. If you like the brand and are able to afford it, it's worth the price.
