Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of gear and, sometimes, even add extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.
For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb ability in PvP, or to add additional defenses to missile-based designs in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the un-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or rings. This swaps the current item for another similar item with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the level of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
The surviving players can acquire tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests, or purchased from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item, for example increasing its damage.
Players can roll their equipment using three aspects: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give players additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To create them, you need a higher-quality reroll token. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers that are placed on action spaces The reroll marker is left on the space until the next success result is repeated. This helps you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Stage, and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the Appliance or Ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a run. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players first need to identify the appropriate item, and then click the "level up" button. This will show a list of the item's current level and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. After the player has met the requirements, he is able to click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank accounts. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are many ways to obtain the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, collect them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can take apart the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets you increase the power of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It's done by combining an item with upgrade components at the upgrade items Station, paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item upgrade will be upgraded to an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been reached.
Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item upgrading at the same time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be added, as well as an appropriate amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade item (visit Atavi here >>). On the right, a preview shows what the gear looks like at its next level. Once the player has enough items and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of an item will increase by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. In the same way, once a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for the track will be offered at discounted prices.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
The upgrades to items allow players the ability to increase certain stats of weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary based on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
The upgrade items can be used to make sets and weapons for extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade component has been added to an item, it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further increase the stats of an item.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and gives an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" however, increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get the perfect roll. For instance, a flawlessly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.
The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the level of the item, the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will add an item upgrading in your inventory after you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show how close you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
