Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is an item that can make certain Pokemon evolve. The upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc. It is sometimes offered as a prize at Pokemon GO events.

Upgrades can be used on armors, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools in order to increase the level of their item level upgrade. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests, based on the kind of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to weapons, armors, trinkets and other tools for gathering in order to increase attributes bonuses or other effects while using the equipment. Upgrade components are only available on equipment that has an upgrade slot. Most upgrade components also require that the item being upgraded is above a certain level. Some upgrade components have special effects that appear when they are applied. Upgrade components are available through crafting, bought from Karma merchants or exchanged with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and used as rewards.

There are various upgrade components, each with various bonuses. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions can be used on any type of equipment. They provide smaller bonuses than the other types of upgrade component. Infusions are utilized in non-amulet ascended equipment as well as legendary equipment, while enrichments are utilized for certain ascended back items. Most upgrade components can be replaced when they are inserted into an item, but doing so can destroy the previous upgrade. The exceptions are glyphs (which can only be inserted into gathering tools) and Enchantments, which can be removed and reinserted freely.

Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and prefix/suffix upgrades will be displayed in the hover display of the item upgrader while they will be added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The tooltip of an item will show the number of upgrades that have been added to it.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, like ligatures and fractions, ornaments, swashes, registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to insert and view these special characters, as well as standard symbols such as em and en dashes as in registered trademark symbols.

Each Glyph gives a character boost in their primary stats. The glyph can also have up to four secondary stats that will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost that is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.

The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and clicking the "enchant" button. This will display a window with the Glyphs that are available to you. You only need to apply the appropriate Glyph to the item level upgrade you have selected. Each weapon, jewelry, or armor piece has a different collection of Glyphs.

You can level up Glyphs by finishing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience that you will gain. Once a Glyph attains level 15 and is upgraded, it is upgradeable at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

Once a Glyph is leveled up to the desired level You can activate it by selecting it and then clicking the "enchant" button. The resulting glyph will give its stated benefit and also boost the other nodes that are within its radius on the Paragon Board. It's important to place Glyphs in the best locations to benefit your build, and that is why it's a good idea to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. The glyphs that are rare may offer dual bonuses if certain conditions are satisfied which is why they're worth checking out for too.

If you're having trouble finding a specific glyph, click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to display the panel in a number of different views. Each of these views shows the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs by selecting an option below "Entire Font". For instance, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the selection to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling involves creating an account on a different account to increase your chances of obtaining a character or weapon you want. It can be done increase your level faster, or to gain more loot, such as a new weapon for your character. A lot of players will reroll until the character they want is available, regardless of strength. This could be because they like the character's design or personality.

You should ensure that you make a clean change when you reroll. You should verify locally if the patch passes pre-commit and run a Core dev test. You should upload the patch with a clear difference to a bug (see What is an interdiff?) ).

Rerolls could take days or weeks to complete, depending on your luck. To speed up the process avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this period. It is also recommended to avoid repeating quests that you can complete later on in the game. This can help you save time and energy.

When rerolling, it is important to be aware of the upgrade system. There are numerous ways to enhance your character's appearance and strength. Upgrades, rerolling characters and upgrading weapons are all options. In addition, it is important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.

Rerolling might not be a necessity however it can be a way to increase your chances of obtaining a certain character or weapon. It could be beneficial when you're trying to find the best character in the game or if you're wanting to test different builds and play styles.

Sets

A set is an object collection that has 2 common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets allow for operations like union, intersection, and difference.

Upgrades make a set better than before. For armor and weapons, this means it gains a higher base defense value as well as an lower strength requirement, and a lower level requirement.

Upgrades can bring popular items from single sets up to the same level as those in higher-tier sets. For example upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to Elite Spired Helm increases the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.

It is important to keep in mind that not all items in the set are suitable for upgrading. Some sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzler staff, are already Exceptional in their own rights and don't need upgrading. Certain items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may be benefited by an upgrade to improve their stats. It could be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
