4. Joovy Twin Roo+
A frame stroller that is minimalist, the Twin Roo+ offers car seat click-in functionality and a huge storage bin. It is one of the lightest double strollers available on the market. It weighs 24 pounds without attachments for infant car seats, which is on the lighter side for a double stroller. It is a bit heavier than the UPPAbaby Vista v2 Double and the Thule Urban Glide best 2 in 1 pram Double.
The Roo+ is simple to use and comes with a handy quick-start guide. It snaps together quickly and can be road-ready in just 10 minutes. It doesn't come with an enclosed canopy and you'll have to bring your own sunshades to your children in case they need extra protection from the elements.
pushchair 2 in 1 our tests during our testing, we discovered the Roo+ to maneuver well for a dual stroller. It's able to navigate most terrains easily, but it isn't able to navigate over grassy areas and gravel. It can be difficult to steer up and over curbs that are 1 inch in height. We do not recommend using this stroller off the road or on stairs, however it does have a great suspension to reduce bumps for the passengers.
The Roo+ has a large storage bin underneath the seat, but it's hard to access without taking off infant car seats. This is a common issue twin frame strollers typically have however Joovy offers a separate underseat baby carrier to help solve this problem.
The Roo+ doesn't have a self-standing fold or cup holders. This is a small sacrifice for car seat compatibility and storage capabilities however we'd prefer a little more versatility from our strollers. The stroller's flexibility in seating arrangement is a major benefit. Parents can place their infant car seats either opposite directions or in the same direction, based on their requirements.
