WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader
Upgrades give a guaranteed boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases the level of the item upgrades by +3. A random extra substat is also increased with every upgrade.
The more modernized gear generally has a greater value for trade as long as it meets low requirements (like the FB sorc's shield) or a very high stat variance (like the eth titan weapons). Upgrades are not as important for those with higher variance due to the need to roll an exact version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader lets players upgrade their gear by offering the currency to an NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any kind of armor or weapons. However, the Best item upgrader Level upgrade [topspeed.lv] used to upgrade items will remain in use for a long time and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can also be applied to enchantments.
You can upgrade your equipment at any time by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date, it is recommended that you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.
Upgrades can cost more based on the item level, but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new gear. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are items that are used to level up weapons, tools, armor, and other items. They can be purchased through NPCs who sell upgrades to item owners for various currencies. They are also available on random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be used on any tool, weapon, or armor. button, which displays a preview of the item when it is upgraded when the player has enough materials.
The cost of upgrading varies based on the slot of the item and the current item level. For instance, weapons will cost more than gloves, bracers or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with certain upgrades offering discounts to lower the cost of the Flightstones or crests that are used. Once an item is upgraded to a certain degree it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.
Upgraders for items are available at many locations, including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade coupon as well as the chance to obtain the latest recipe. The discount on upgrades increases as more items are upgraded. It can also be increased by having players complete certain achievements or complete quests.
Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no item upgrader available in the beginning of Icewind Dale. Instead the NPCs that can be used to upgrade must be acquired through a variety of means which is both an improvement but also a drawback.
In Season 3, the upgrade system was tweaked a bit, with several new features added. Once the player has upgraded to a certain level of item for an armor slot upgrading other items to the same level, will cost less. This is true even if those items are from a different set of equipment.
The amount of Valorstones required to upgrade is reduced and the discount is account-wide. In the same way, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed for upgrades is also cut and is not available until players achieve certain achievement milestones.
Crests
Players have a variety of choices when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are an item that is available to everyone who wants to upgrade. Crests are more specific and are utilized during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an essential part of the Dragonflight gear progression system, which was introduced in 10.1, and come in four ranks.
The first thing to be aware of is that crests can only be used to purchase equipment of a particular rank, and that every rank has different requirements for its upgrade path. The simplest and simplest upgrade costs 15 crests. The most complex upgrade item could require as much as 20 crests, contingent on the kind of equipment that is being upgraded.
Players can earn crests by finishing content at the appropriate level, whether that involves walking around and engaging in outdoor activities to get lower-tier gear, dungeons or raids of all difficulty for items of higher tier, or Mythic+ heroic raid bosses and dungeons for endgame gear. Crests can be exchanged at an item upgrader kit upgrader NPC, such as Cuzolth in Dornogal or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to obtain the appropriate upgrade routes and steps.
The new currency system isn't complicated to use, however it does bring some changes to the upgrade process. Once a piece of gear has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer), it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest possible level for all their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.
Another important modification is that crests have one purpose therefore it's essential to use them wisely. For instance, it's a good idea to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the top equipment you have and then save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you plan on making. This is particularly true for items such as rings and trinkets that occupy several slots. The discount on the account will only be applicable if all the slots on the character are filled with top-quality equipment.
