Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that is multi-purpose. It can be transformed from a single stroller into a double stroller by adding a second seat (sold separately) or glider board. It can also be set up to become a triple travel system by adding an infant bench seat or car seat. In all, it offers 24 configurations and is a top stroller overall. The model is made of Baby Jogger's soft, breathable and sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate the temperature. It has a premium leatherette handlebar as well as a bumper bar, as well as an abdominal bar. It folds 20% smaller than the leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is lighter, too.
It features a medium-sized shade as well as an e-snap-aboo window which is easy to close or open. The telescoping handlebars are one of the easiest to adjust and works for parents of all sizes. The seats recline and come with a footwell adjustment knob so you can position your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin has plenty of room, but we would have preferred an easier latch. The bin is easy to open, however the zippers can be annoying because they need to be unfastened and then refastened after each use.
Like its siblings Like its brothers, the City Select has single-action brakes which are easy to set and release using the release of a lever on the side of the frame lower than the handlebar. It is suitable for sandals and barefoot and an improvement over the awkward levers for brakes that other brands use.
This is the only stroller in our review that can accept two infant car seats which makes it a great option for twins or parents with one kiddo and a new baby on the way. It is compatible with most major brands' infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It is a great option for families who already have a car seat and want an appropriate stroller however, you might be better off with another convertible stroller that can fit an additional car seat in this case.
