Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats, and sometimes enhances its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are applied.
For instance, the top shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens are a way to reroll a purchased item, such as a weapon, armor or rings. The item is swapped for one of the same type with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade items gear. However, they don't retain the same level as the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests, or purchase them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on the equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment in three aspects that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by melee and weapons and spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.
There are three kinds of reroll tokens: upgrade, rare, and legendary. Each upgrade items takes an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to create it. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
In contrast to other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces, the reroll marker remains on the space until the next successful result is rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the start of every preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grabbing on to them. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This changes the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These stones are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. In addition, players can get these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item is determined by its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one green or blue Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can select the upgrade option and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not affect the item's longevity. The system is an excellent choice for those who wish to get an edge in combat but don't want to burden their wallets. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are numerous methods to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Additionally players can cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that allows players to increase the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume upgrade materials and grant the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that area. This process can continue until the item is at its highest level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be added to more than one item at a time. Each upgrade component also requires the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place items to be upgraded. On the right, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow when a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade item process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the base stats of the item will increase by only a tiny amount. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. When a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer), upgrades for the track will be offered at discounts.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be purchased through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs, which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Items upgrades allow players to boost certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ depending on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium and a number Upgrade tokens.
Item upgrade components can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the quality item. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However it is possible to swap glyphs freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers which can further enhance the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.
Some items benefit from being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but because it lets players get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the level of the item as well as the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory after you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an upgrade items by going to any item upgrader NPC.
