World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading
Upgrades can boost the value of certain numeric statistics on armor, weapons and rings. They also increase bonuses like damage from PvE and crit chance.
If the template for upgrading a weapon is in %, the weapon will increase 3% of its previous attack damage every time it is upgraded.
Best item upgrader upgrading costs crests and the item's current level. The cost increases as the level of the item rises.
Components
Upgrade components are items that can be inserted into armor, weapons, and trinkets in order to provide an additional stat boost or effect while they're in use. They can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors or trading with other players, or looting. Certain upgrades have unique cosmetic effects.
Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment with a slot. The item must be upgraded to a blue level before a component can be used. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once; they cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced with upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a special kind of upgrade component that is that is designed for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment as well as the back items that are not ascending. Enrichments and Infusions can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or by completing a mission within the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.
An upgrade could have a prefix or suffix that alters the name of the Best item upgrade to which it is used (for examplethe "Canthan Armor Insignia is changed to Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades boost the Mark Level or Rarity, allowing players to create stronger versions of the equipment using fewer Upgrade Crystals than are required to reach the same level of upgrade through normal methods.
A 'boost' upgrade can alter the attack or defense attributes of a weapon, or armor. These upgrades can be made from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene and defeats the Crazed mechanic. These upgrades are available for purchase them in the cash shop or by obtaining them from enemies when upgrading other equipment.
The player can get a maximum of five boost upgrades at a time; each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will drop during the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of how much it will improve after a future reset.
The process of upgrading an item can be expensive, and it is possible that the item will be obsolete or even break when the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the possibility of failure. Certain upgrades also provide a bonus if reinserted.
Glyphs
Glyphs are upgrade components that can be inserted into special sockets on the Paragon Board. Glyphs increase the effectiveness of all nodes in the area around them, including pre-existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded many ways, and we recommend getting them up to level 15 whenever you can.
In the endgame you'll often discover that the Best item upgrade way to enhance your equipment is to use Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15, and they provide a large boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes much faster.
Glyphs, the sole upgrade component that can be removed without restriction and replaced again are the most commonly used. The only exception is legendary equipment, which requires the use of a Black Lion Salvage Kit to salvage and replace.
Each Glyph has a certain range of values it can improve a statistic by. The value is displayed when you select the Glyph in your inventory. You can replace it with a different Glyph with the same rank, or a higher rank, which will boost the overall value of the Glyph.
Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of the Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use and also during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has the possibility of dropping one of the many Glyphs, and there are some rare glyphs to be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.
When you have the desired Glyphs You will have to put them on your gear. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that can boost the stats of a specific set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.
Glyphs boost all nodes connected to them, which is why it is recommended to place Glyphs in key places on the Graph. This will increase the impact. Druids, for example should position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They may be able to place them near their critical damage nodes.
Leveling
The item upgrade system allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by inserting upgraded components. This is commonly known as "upping". Each upgradeable item comes with a level that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum of 385. Each item level requires a different amount of components to be reached, and the upgrade costs increase as the item gets leveled up.
Certain upgrades require a specific ingredient to activate. This ingredient can be obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or found on the upgrade tab of a crafting table. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed will result in a certain amount of Technology points. These points can be used to upgrade the item. Once enough points are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.
When a player upgrades an item it is replaced with a different item of the same kind. The same armor can be transformed into the form of a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will have a unique bonus. This could be a drawback, as the item upgrader mod can become more expensive even if you don't need it.
item upgrades (read more on linkagogo.trade`s official blog) can sometimes be rerolled if the player has enough tokens to be able to do this. The item will be replaced by an entirely new item that has a level 1 basis and completely different bonuses. This can be useful, but should not be used frequently as it could waste resources.
Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to personalize their equipment. A good example of this is Dolphin's Gift, which gives a buff when the player repeatedly enters and leaves the water (or is able to swim like a dolphin). The item can be upgraded multiple times by increasing the maximum roll every time by 10 increments. This item is extremely valuable in PvP. A well-rolled version could be worth as much as 50x the value of a non-upgraded counterpart.
Requirements
The item upgrader allows players to raise the level of their equippable equipment (armor weapons, weapons, and trinkets) beyond ilvl385 by handing over the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrading armor set pieces will also increase the base defense of that piece, while upgrading weapon equipment will increase the base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.
All items can be upgraded up to five times except for hero equipment, which is able to be upgraded eight times. Each when you upgrade an item it is given a chance to fail--the failure rate increases the farther you exceed the maximum amount of upgrades. Failures will result in the item reverting to its original condition, which requires the user to spend more materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum amount of upgrades.
If an item isn't upgraded the experience bar on its growth bar will be reset to zero. In addition the item will be deducted any gained bonuses such as crit chance and attack damage, as well as all additional effects associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or reload speed). The player is able to use their weapon or armor even after the failure.
If an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded receives a crit chance boost that it will be applied before any damage from attacks increases. A new attribute called Slots is now added to the item's definition and the value is calculated every time an upgrade is applied.
The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is determined on the rarity rating and the number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium items is the same as the base value of the upgrade. For example, a common equipment item could have five upgrades at a cost of 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items have lower costs per upgrade.
Premium items may require different upgrades than regular gear. For example they may require less sowels, however they may require more minerals and orons. Players will still have to carry each piece of gear they want to upgrade to NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine. Each equipment upgrade requires different amounts of the ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the expenses mentioned above.
