Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
Item upgrading is a key component to maximizing your gearing potential. It lets you add bonus stats and bonuses on top of the value of your basic item.
Each upgrade template comes with a set of options which can be configured using the edition GUI. These options include the upgrade reference and the upgrading chance.
Upgrade components
The system for upgrading armor, weapons, and other gear in Cyberpunk 2077 has been reworked as part of the 2.0 update. Upgrade components are scattered throughout Night City. The item upgrades you wish to upgrade must also include an upgrade items slot. When you select an item to upgrade it will show an image of what the expected statistics will be following upgrading, along with the component or material needed. If you don't have the level or resource to upgrade an item the button will read "Blocked."
The items that can be upgraded include weapons and armor and trinkets and gathering tools. The upgrade slots on all of these items can be filled with various upgrades that offer bonus features or other effects while the equipment is being used. These upgrades can be obtained through crafting, bought from a vendor, or taken from the loot.
There are two kinds of upgrades: universal upgrades and gemstones. Universal upgrades are comparable to gems and are able to be used in any type of equipment. They provide a lower bonus than other upgrade components. They are easy to acquire, as they are dropped by enemies and taken from loot bins all over the world. Gems can be found by disassembling items or through doing specific tasks.
Upgrades can be removed and replaced by new ones that fit in the slot of the weapon. However this will cause the destruction of any prior upgrades. Other upgrades, with the exception for glyphs which can be inserted in gathering tools, are not able to be removed from an item once they are placed. Infusions can be placed into legendary and upgraded equipment. Enhancements are only obtainable using a high-quality salvaging kit or an upgrade extractor.
Recycled items
During the two World Wars, the scarcity of natural resources drove the world towards recycling. Recycling aluminum, plastic and paper is commonplace. They get a new lease on life. Recycling saves energy and keeps carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere. It's also a good way to avoid landfills and conserve natural resources. However, it is crucial to know what materials can and cannot be recycled.
A common mistake that people make is placing the wrong items in the recycling bin. These items not only contaminate recycling equipment, but also end up in the stream. To avoid this, always check the label and follow the rules of your recycling program. For instance cardboard shouldn't be mixed with tin or steel cans, and tissue should be disposed of in the garbage. Plastic bags can also become stuck in recycling machines, and should be returned to the supermarket to be reused. Other items to throw in the trash include food containers and berry containers. Glass is the only exception as glass can be used to build with.
It's important to check for the label "Made from recycled content" when you are looking for new products. This indicates that the product contains reclaimed materials from other products that have fulfilled their purpose. This makes them more eco sustainable than new items made of raw materials. Additionally they are much less expensive than virgin ones.
You can recycle your old laptop, computer, tablet, or phone by taking it to a recycle facility. They can reuse the materials to create new electronic devices and other useful products. You could even earn money from some of these companies by donating old ones.
If you want your coworkers' recycling to be easier, make it standardized the colors of the bins as well as the signage at your workplace. This will reduce confusion and encourage participation. You should also designate a space within your office for recycling, such as an open bin or box located in the breakroom.
Reroll tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to roll the dice a second time to increase your stats and cool powers. These tokens are found in the mistery boxes, as an uncommon drop from skulled creatures, or from killed bosses. Each token takes one attribute point from damage, and then randomly transforms it into the new attribute. You can also roll additional attributes on objects, like regeneration and speed.
The amount of extras that are added to an item varies with each level. The value of an extra is calculated as a percentage of the total stats for the item. Rerolling a token could alter the value. In addition, the recycle value also increases with each upgrade. Generally speaking, the value of an item's principal stat will increase by +3 with each level, whereas the value of its additional stats will vary.
Click the dice icon next to the item you have in your inventory to roll it again. You can also hit the button on a different lobby of a player, and then select "Reroll". After rolling the item, it will be removed from your collection.
Sagbe is Sagbe is a Token Shop dealer in the game. You can also earn free rerolls redeeming active codes in Fire Force Online. These codes can be exchanged for a variety of items, including Reroll Tokens or Clan Reroll Tokens.
Rerolls are useful early in the game when you are building your inventory. They are not the most effective method to increase your character's stats. You should instead focus on increasing your skill points. You can also earn bonus points by completing event tiers.
You can also roll the race of your character with a race-reroll token, which can be purchased from the Zen Market. This token can be redeemed through certain pack purchases or through the Token Shop. It lets you change the race of your character only once. It can also be obtained as a reward by completing Meg's cases in the Port Sarim Invasion event.
Leveling
Leveling up an item during the upgrade process can increase its power and stats. It also increases the cost and the amount of materials required to complete the upgrade process. The kind of materials needed is dependent on the type of item. For example, weapons make use of a mixture of Destruction Stones and Guardian Stones. Armor uses Harmony Leapstones and Shards. Incorporating additional materials into the process can boost the chances of success, but it is not an assurance.
The process of leveling uses a formula to determine the amount of damage magical attack, defense and damage an upgraded item receives during the next upgrade items. The formulas vary based on the weapon type and rarity. Additionally, there is an upper limit for each type of gear.
The NPC will display an Upgrade option when the item reaches its maximum level. This allows the player to upgrade the item to the next level by infusing it with experience. To maximize this process, it is important that players ensure their gear has reached its maximum level prior to upgrading. This way, they will avoid wasting experience and materials that could have been better spent on other upgrades.
When the upgrade is in process when the upgrade is in progress, the NPC will show a window that has two lines. The first line shows the number of Tech Points the upgrade will give, while the second displays a preview of what the item will look like at its upgraded level. The preview may not be accurate for items with mods, but it can provide a rough idea of what you can expect.
The NPC will display the cost to upgrade the item. The cost of Technology Points will be included in the event that they are applicable. If you have an Accelerator, it will include the cost. Accelerators are available for purchase through the Exchange and increase the number of Tech Points earned by upgrading by 50 percent. This bonus is not applicable to the item's chance of quality which is reset once the item reaches the mark level.
The Upgrade NPC offers a service to facilitate transfer of gear. This will allow players to save the experience and upgrade progress of an item of gear and then transfer it to a different item in the same slot. This is beneficial for players who wish to upgrade their gear but do not have the cash to purchase a brand new set.
