Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random augmentations that are applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capability in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based build in the PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like armor, weapon or rings. The item is swapped for one of the same type with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. They don't keep the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted aren't rewarded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of an item that could include increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.
Players can reroll their equipment into three categories: physical power, magic power, and health. Upgrades to physical power increase damage from weapons and melee attack and spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a better quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next success is being rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Stage, and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they will display an explanation and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged to purchase a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
As a result, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This alters the blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost the quality of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. These stones are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade the item upgrader kit is determined by its rarity. Most often, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade, the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process also is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. It's an excellent option for players who wish to gain an advantage in battle, but don't want to burden their wallets. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer the experience and progression of an upgraded piece of gear onto a new piece of gear.
The process of obtaining Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty can be a challenge for new players. There are a variety of ways to acquire the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is an optional feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will use up the upgrade materials and give the item an increased level, which gives the item a boost in that area. This process can be repeated until the highest level of an item is reached.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, cannot be added to more than one item upgrade at once. Each upgrade component also requires the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can add a piece of equipment that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each upgrade, the stats of the base item will increase by an amount of. The highest level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum capacity and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will have discounts.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and other trinkets to give an extra effect or attribute bonus while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones. However, this will ruin the previous upgrade.
Requirements
item upgrades (Read the Full Write-up) give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the item type, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options are available).
Upgrades to items can be used to make set pieces or weapons to provide extra effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be gotten through a variety of sources in the game, including crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade item component is inserted into an item, it can't be removed and replaced freely, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.
Upgrading an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components have additional modifiers that can improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance to block. In addition the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Some items are better off being upgraded less for their increased stats, but because it allows players to gain the most value out of a perfect roll on the item. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. The game will show the required requirements when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will place an item in your inventory when you have fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close you are towards completing the upgrade. You can also check on the status of an upgrade by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
