World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
The upgrade of an item allows players to boost the gear rating of an item upgrade up to 700 points and add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory before heading to the kiln.
Certain items can be upp'd to benefit from their unique stats (like an ideally broken point armour that is rolled for melee PvP) and others, like weapons, don't change much post upgrade, so they aren't worth upgrading.
Weapons
Weapons can be upgraded to boost their numeric stats, such as damage to attack, crit chance as well as PvE and damage from PvP. Weapons have a flat-rate bonus that increases damage per second. Some weapons also have a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a unit. In some instances, this bonus can add up to more than the amount of damage a weapon upgrades on its own.
A weapon's upgrade costs depend on the nature of the weapon as well as its current level. For instance, an upgrade to a +2 weapon requires two regular Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones needed to upgrade a weapon will continue increase until it requires the higher level of Smithing Stones, at which the amount will be reset to one.
Upgrading weapons will also reroll their base stats. While this is generally beneficial, it can have some negative consequences as well. For items that only see use in a particular build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs for instance) upgrading them could render them useless unless you get a lucky roll.
Upgrades can be made to armor items to improve their effectiveness. This can boost the defense of a helm or chest while belts and gloves can boost their strength and agility. Armor also has the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense percentage, which means that it can sometimes reroll to a lower value.
The upgrade template of a weapon will display the new stats it will gain upon upgrading, along with the relative values of those stats. This means that a change from an 8 attack-damage sword to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in the weapon gaining 33% attack damage. The 3% does not mean that the weapon will strike 3 times less, as it is an absolute number.
Rerolling a weapon is also possible by pressing the green button within the item upgrader mod menu using the arrows that are circling. This will reroll an item and change its statistics, but it will not reset the weapon's levels or tie it to the account status.
Armor
A few tweaks to your armor could make a an enormous difference in your capacity to withstand. Certain sets offer massive increases in resistance to curses, poison, fire, and magic. This makes it easier to navigate difficult areas. In general, the greater defense you have on your character, the more health you can gain from each point. Therefore, it's a good idea to upgrade your armor.
To improve your armor, head to any of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four of them, and each requires you to complete a special side quest involving the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest and the corresponding fountains, you'll be able to talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.
The amount of material needed to upgrade each piece of armor will vary. You'll require anything from three Red Chuchu jelly and 10 Rupees to upgrade the first armor piece, and anywhere between five Rubies or 10 Fire-Breath Horns to upgrade each subsequent one. The Champion Leathers, for example, can be upgraded to a 5 defense rating, which allows you to keep up in cold environments with a lot of adversaries. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other is able to be upgraded as high as +20 defense to ensure you're able to withstand a rout with friends.
Note that armor can't be upgraded in the same manner as weapons, so you'll have to concentrate on upgrading it to gain physical power if you're a Warrior or Spell Power in the case of Mage. It's also a good idea to save your armor upgrades to use for armor you'll wear at the end of the game, like the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield, or the helmet you wear for the final boss battle and the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.
You can also unlock some advantages to your armor by presenting the jeweler at Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. You'll generally want to save these upgrades to the weapon you'll use to win the game. For example the Longsword or Battleaxe. It's nevertheless beneficial to have a few upgrades to the chest armor and helmets to let you sneak around some monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquid substances that, when consumed provide the user with an effect on their status for a short period of time. There are five different types of potions, each having specific effects and durations. Certain potions can be upgraded to enhance their level of effectiveness. Additionally the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding redstone or glowstone dust the potions.
Upgrades to potion cost a certain amount of XP. This can be earned by making them on a table or in the Alchemist's chest. The price of upgrades varies based on the type of potion and the item level upgrade's rarity as well as Mark Level.
To upgrade a potion to the next level, right-click on it in your inventory and select the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This opens a GUI in which you can select the potions you wish to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll produce when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at a time, and their XP will be added to the total amount of XP you have.
Once a potion is upgraded and stored, it will not degrade unless you use it again or break the bottle within the container it is kept. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will allow you to change the name of the potion.
There were a few changes to the mechanics of potion in version 1.7.2. Splash potions, for instance have now a duration of that is 0:08 instead of 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display of the item. The table of potion now crafted from four Wood Planks, and two Glass. It can be utilized in both Survival and Bedrock. Contrary to Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be mixed in cauldrons. Additionally, using a potentio on a full cauldron drains the potion and replenishes the bottle.
In addition, there are lingering potions that are made using splash and dragon breath potions. In the same way, a lingering potion effect can be extended by adding redstone to it. The table of potion ingredients is now organized more closely to the Java Edition, and new potions were added, such as the potion of leaping, the decomposition potion, and turtle master potions.
Trinkets
A trinket is an ornamental item that is small, cheap or piece jewelry. It can also refer to an ornament or object that serves a function but isn't essential, like a Thimble. In certain traditions, trinkets are used to symbolize affection or friendship, particularly between family members.
Trinkets can be upgraded by players in addition to weapons and armor, as well as potions. Upgrades can be obtained by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other item upgrades; mouse click on Buzzbii, trinkets, trinkets can be exchanged at will without losing their stats.
Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of each zone, and sometimes in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets are available with tokens, gold or fragments of a rare trinket.
Upgrading a trinket is an economical alternative to buying new ones. One can upgrade their trinket for as little as 12 tokens. The new trinket has the same level of base as the previous trinket but it also comes with an additional 1% bonus upgrade.
Trinkets can be upgraded once the old ones are no longer needed, allowing a player to boost their power and value over time. They can also be traded between players which makes them an extremely popular alternative to gold.
Players should upgrade their most essential items first. This usually refers to the most valuable-in-slot items for their class, then their secondaries and then other items of gear they won't replace soon (for instance, a ring or cloak). Players should also consider their class's preferred stats when deciding the items to upgrade. For instance, if Haste and Crit are the two most important stats for a tank it is recommended that they upgrade their helm, chest, shoulders, and belt.
Trinkets can be re-upgraded to a higher level once they are no longer useful, and the new trinket can be upgraded to have an additional 1% upgrade bonus. A re-upgrade, however, will cause the trinket to be destroyed unless it is salvaged with the Black Lion Salvage Kit, or a salvage tool. This makes upgrading trinkets more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still cheaper than purchasing the new one.
