greenpower mobility (mouse click the up coming post) - All-green energy mobility scooters Medium and Heavy-Duty Vehicles

Greenpower creates and distributes a complete range of high-floor and low-floor all-electric mobility scooter fastest heavy and medium-duty vehicles. This includes school cargo buses, buses for cargo, and shuttles.

EV Star is a zero-emission vehicle that has a high degree of customisation. It's also FTA certified and Buy America compliant. It has a class-leading range and ADA wheelchair accessibility. It also provides cargo delivery setups.

EV Star

GreenPower Motor Company produces a full suite of high-floor and low-floor all-green electric scooter medium and heavy-duty vehicles. Their flagship vehicle is the EV Star Cab & Chassis platform, which can accommodate a variety of upfits and bodies for multiple applications. The platform's design is based on a clear sheet of paper, which allows for optimum placement of the battery and a lower center-of-gravity. This leads to better payload/range ratios.

The EV Star REEFERX was designed for mid-to last mile refrigerated deliveries as well as catering applications. The refrigerated trucks in class 4 with a single wall structure inside and a higher insulation level than traditional trucks, allow for seamless sanitation and better temperature control. They also have a longer lifespan. The EV Star REEFERX provides superior cargo capacity and an industry leading payload to range ratio for zero-emission goods and passenger transportation.

GreenPower joined forces with Perrone Robotics in order to equip the EV Star with TONY (To navigate you) autonomous vehicle systems. This will allow fleets to make the transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star will also be capable of wireless charging at 75 kW.

We were capable of testing the EV9 on the local highway for a few hours and found it to be easy to drive and comfortable to drive for long distances. The EV9 is able to suppress the sound of traffic and wind driving on the highway. It is smooth on ruts and humps. The acceleration is surprisingly fast and the car has adjustable regenerative braking that allows "one pedal driving" by simply lifting the accelerator.

The EV9 has excellent range and can be fully charged in about three hours at home, or with any commercial charger. Drivers can choose between two modes of operation that include eco mode and sports mode. Eco mode prioritizes the torque as well as cruise control and handling, while sport mode increases speed. Both are fun to drive and provide a unique driving experience for anyone that has never driven an electric vehicle before.

In addition to the EV9, GreenPower has several other electric vehicles, including a multi-purpose electric mini bus, called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used for executive shuttles, transit or microtransit buses, vanpools, or paratransit vehicles.

GreenPower produces about 10 EV Star busses a month for the Jacksonville Transit Authority. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their older diesel vehicles fleet with 100 electric cars. GreenPower will increase production to meet the demands of the Biden Administration which wants to electrify all school buses in America. Their EV Star bus is the first of its kind to be tested in Altoona and FMVSS-certified, Buy America compliant and ADA certified. This makes them eligible for federal transit grants. Check back as we follow the AV Star on its demonstration tour later this year. We will give more details about this amazing electric scooter green vehicle!
