The crib can also be attached to the side of the bed using a strap and clip attachment. This makes the crib very solid and secure and allows you to sleep soundly without worrying that your baby will roll off into the middle. In contrast to other cribs for bed which can be difficult to clean due to their incessant stream of dribble and snot The Tutti Bambini CoZee Air comes with a wipe-clean lining and fabric that can be removed to wash in the machine. Plus, it has an upper bar that can be easily adjusted for feeding at night without having to fumble with zips in the dark.
Anna found the CoZee to be a safe, comfortable place to sleep for her infant. She was pleased that it didn't move like other models, so she wasn't woken up in the night trying to soothe her baby for feedings. She also loved that the side lowered down so she didn't have to reach out over her partner to carry the baby out to feed her at night.
The CoZee is available in charcoal and oak and is a beautiful addition to the bedroom. It's more of a designer piece than some of the other cribs that we've tried, which look quite utilitarian in comparison. It's also quite light at 11kg, and comes with a carry case so you can bring it with you on vacation or when you are moving home. You'll need an waterproof sheet and a safety strap for co-sleeping. The instructions and images are easy to follow once you open the box.
The Maxi-Cosi lora
The Iora is a bassinet for the bed that helps parents feel closer to their infant as they sleep. It can be adjusted up and down and can be moved through three slide positions to fit beside the parent's bed, or in the corner of the room so that the baby is always close at hand. The mesh siding lets air flow through and allows you to see your baby easily. You can also keep extra pajamas or supplies in the large basket underneath.
The Iora is a smaller bedside cots for newborns crib that can fold flat. It also comes with a travel case to allow it to be carried anywhere. Our mum testers found it easy to move from room to room, and believed that it was a suitable size for a bedside cot used cot, and not too big or small. The large storage basket is great for storing extra bedding or nappies.
This is an excellent choice for parents who are looking to co-sleep but do not want to share their beds, or whose partners might be suffering from mobility issues, such as arthritis or back issues. Our mum testers love the ease with which they can access their baby in the Iora, and it also has an adjustable reflux incline that can help with gas.
Our mums appreciate the fact that it complies with NICE guidelines which state that you should place the infant in a crib or Moses basket on its own (with no blankets, toys, pillows, etc). The mattress is also sturdy and comfortable for babies and sheets are easy to find. It's not as light as the other cribs that are smaller on our list, so if you prefer something lighter and easier for you to move, choose another option.
