WoW Upgrades - The Best item upgrader Upgrader
Upgrades will give you a boost to certain stats. Each upgrade increases item upgrade level by +3. Each upgrade also boosts a random substat.
The upgraded gear is usually more valuable, unless the item is not required by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as useful for those with higher variance due to the need to roll the perfect version.
Recycle Points
The item upgrader enables players to upgrade their gear to a higher level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied to any type of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item is discarded and cannot be used again. Upgrades can be applied to the enchantments.
You can upgrade your gear anytime by visiting the upgrader in any major city. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended you visit the upgrader every couple of weeks.
Upgrades can cost more based on the level of the item, but they will always be cheaper than buying new equipment. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest up to the level of ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.
Valorstones
Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon, and accessory upgrades. They can be bought by players through item upgrader NPCs in exchange for a variety of currencies, and may also be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade can be applied to any tool, weapon or armor. button, which displays an image of the item at the next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.
The cost of upgrades varies based on the item slot and the current level of the item Level Upgrade and the weapon's price is higher than bracers or gloves, for example. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones plus a set number of crests. Certain upgrades provide a discount on the Flightstones. Once an item level upgrade has been upgraded to a certain amount, it can be degraded and returned to the upgrader for a lesser amount of both currencies.
A lot of locations offer upgraders for items which include the main island and some outposts. The NPCs provide both an upgrade coupon as well as the possibility of getting a new recipe. The discount for upgrades increases with the number of items that are being upgraded. It is also possible to be increased by requiring players to complete specific achievements or complete quests.
Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no upgrader for items available in the beginning of Icewind Dale. Instead the NPCs that are available to facilitate upgrades must be acquired through several methods which is both an improvement as well as a disadvantage.
In Season 3, several new features have been added to the upgrade system. When a player has an upgrade to a particular item level for a particular armor slot, upgrading further items to that level will be less expensive, even when they belong to another set of gear.
The discount is available to all accounts. In the same way, the amount of Harbinger Crests needed for upgrades is also reduced and is not available until players achieve certain achievement milestones.
Crests
Players have several choices when it comes to upgrading their gear in WoW. Flightstones are a currency that is available to everyone for upgrading. Crests are more specialized and are used for specific item level upgrades. Crests are a key element of the Dragonflight gear progression system introduced in 10.1 and are available in four ranks.
The first thing to note is that crests are only able to be used to purchase equipment that is of a particular rank, and each rank has different requirements for upgrading. The simplest and easiest upgrade is 15 crests. The most complex upgrade requires up to 20 crests, contingent on the type or equipment that is being upgraded.
Players can obtain crests by completing content of the appropriate level, whether that involves walking around and engaging in outdoor activities for lower-tier gear, raids or dungeons with all difficulties for higher-tier items or Mythic+ dungeons or heroic raid bosses for gear that is used in the endgame. The crests can later be exchanged at an upgrader NPC, such as Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to get the appropriate upgrade pathways and steps.
The new currency system isn't difficult to use, however it will bring some changes to the process of upgrading. Once a piece of gear has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This change allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest possible ilvl on all of their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.
It's also essential to use crests with care, since they have only one purpose. For instance, it's a good idea to make use of all your Whelpling-rank crests on the top equipment available and then keep Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you're planning to create. This is particularly true for items like rings and trinkets that take up multiple slots on the character, that will be able to avail the discount for all accounts when all of the slots are full of high-quality equipment.
