Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece of equipment and, sometimes, even add extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and how many random augmentations can be applied.

For instance, the premium shield of racial violence Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb capability in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens can be used to reroll a purchased item like armor, weapon or rings. The item is replaced by an identical item however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective way to upgrade gear. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attributes of an item, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons and spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare, and legendary. Each upgrade elevates the item to higher quality. To create them, you need an upgrade level reroll token. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next success is being rerolled. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they will display a description and icon for the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of coins.

In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool when you run. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available to reroll and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires only one blue or green Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the longevity of the item. The system is an excellent choice for those who wish to gain an advantage in combat, but don't want to burden their wallets. Moreover players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item onto a new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are a variety of methods to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.

Leveling

Leveling is a feature that lets players boost the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee in Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item upgrader mod an increased level, which gives the item a boost in the area. This process can be repeated until the maximum level of an item is attained.

Items with upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at the same time. Furthermore, each upgrade component will require a specific amount of items to be used and a minimum amount for the equipment.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left is where players can put in an item to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will appear like when it reaches its next level. When a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Every time the item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.

Once an item has reached its highest level, upgrades will not be available for it. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an additional bonus or effect while the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced at will.

Requirements

Item upgrades give players the ability to boost certain attributes of weapons and armor that they currently have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ depending on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with an amount of Upgrade tokens.

Items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to equipment and weapons. This gives them more effects or an improved quality of the item. These upgrades can come from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been added to an object it cannot be removed or replaced. However, glyphs can be swapped freely.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can boost the item's statistics.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases the base defense and provides an additional 20 percent chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Some items are better off being upgraded not so much for their improved stats, but more because it allows players to get the most value from a flawless roll on the item. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly sought-after by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.

When you choose an upgrade component that you want to put into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor) the tier of that item as well as the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

The game will add an item in your inventory after you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how far you are to getting the upgrade completed. You can also check the status of an upgrade by going to any item upgrader NPC.
