World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
The item upgrade feature allows players to increase the item level of equippable weapons or armor. This increases the stats and can also add buffs or rerolls to an attach.
It is important to note that although you can upgrade your magic and common equipment, it's generally not worth it. Unique and rare equipment can quickly outperform the standard equipment and upgraded magic.
Cost
When a player decides to upgrade an item, they must spend Gold to upgrade the item. The cost of upgrading an item is dependent on its current level and the type of upgrade selected. For example upgrading a weapon is generally be less expensive than upgrading armor, as weapons require lower levels of skill. The amount of Gold required for upgrading increases when the item is upgraded to an upper level.
Upgraded items will also have improved stats that can improve its performance in different ways. This includes increasing its attack power critical strike chance, or damage per second. An upgraded item may also give additional bonuses to the unit it is equipped with. These upgrades are able to increase the overall strength of a group or individual unit, and can have a significant impact on the gameplay.
Items can be upgraded at any item upgrader NPC in the game. Typically these NPCs are found in major cities or questing areas. You can also find upgraders of items by visiting dungeons with high-level bosses and talking to NPCs at the garrisons of your faction.
The item upgrade system in World of Warcraft provides players with the possibility of upgrading the levels of armor, weapons and trinkets. This process is similar to the reforging process used in Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor. However instead of using currency, players have to visit an item upgrader to complete the process.
Upgrades to items can be costly, especially when it is related to armor and weapons. Based on the upgrade track you choose, each item upgrader kit upgrade can cost Crests or Valorstones. The total costs can be prohibitive for players who do not have the funds or aren't willing to grind them.
The game lets you reroll a upgraded item using a specific tool from the menu of items. This option allows you to exchange the upgraded item for the version at level 1 which comes with an additional set of bonus effects. This can be useful to get better rolls on items that are already upgraded, but it can also be a waste of resources.
Requirements
The process of upgrading equipmentable items such as weapons, armor and trinkets is to increase the item level. This can boost their power and make them more effective in combat. Players can upgrade items their gear by spending the appropriate currency at a NPC who sells upgrades for items. Players should be aware of the fact that certain upgrades require specific requirements.
The earliest upgrades only increase the base item's stats by one level, but later upgrades provide more significant boosts. Upgrades from levels 3 to 6 will increase the weapon's damage by two levels. In addition the upgraded item will receive bonus stats, which is based on the level at which it was purchased. The bonus consists of a substat that is guaranteed and an undetermined stat that can vary from upgrade to upgrade.
A player can reroll an upgraded item by using a Reroll Token to exchange the upgrade for a new one. The new item will have a different set of extra bonuses, as well as a lower base item level. The rerolled item level upgrade will also have different requirements for dexterity and strength. It is important to know that the rerolled item will not be able to maintain its strength or have any of its wasted resources.
Some upgraded items are only able to be rerolled only if the original item was Unique, Rare or Epic. Additionally, exceptional items can be rerolled but the original stats are replaced with an uncapped bonus. Rerolling a Rare or Epic item will result in the normal version, and rerolling the Epic version will result in an elite version.
An upgraded item may also have extra modifiers, which can further increase its stats and boost its performance. These additional modifiers are not included in the upgrade price. They can be obtained through the questing process, purchasing them from the Trading Post or from other players. They can also be earned by doing specific missions within the game.

Time is an important factor.

It's crucial to know the costs and benefits before investing your time or money.

They will bring more profit for your investment.

The search will also reveal whether the item is of an appropriate tier and whether the player would benefit from a particular upgrade.
During the upgrade process the item will gradually advance to its next level, however, it isn't always able to reach the full upgrade bar. This process is based on Growthstones and Sollant however there is a chance of getting an upgraded item after just one cycle. The higher the level an item is upgraded to, the higher its boosted stats value and the more items it can upgrade to.
Upgrade components can be slotted into weapons, armor, and trinkets to provide an attribute bonus or additional effect when the equipment is equipped. Certain upgrade components also have cosmetic effects. Upgrade components can be acquired by crafting, buying from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving as a gift. By selecting the item and pressing the green button, which has an arrow that rerolls the player can roll it into an upgradeable item. This will change the layout of the game and allow players to choose up to six items for "recycling". The item that is recycled will be exchanged with a level 1 item of the same kind. Recycled items don't keep their status or the amount of resources used to upgrade them.
The highest level of upgrade an item can achieve is determined by its tier and the quality. Rare and Epic items are able to be upgraded to levels of nine, while common items can only be upgraded up to level six. Item upgrades are added to the base statistics of the item and will no longer increase after a certain amount.
