World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade
The feature of upgrading items allows players to increase the level for equippable weapons or armor. This boosts the stats of the item and may also include buffs or rerolls on an affix.
It is important to keep in mind that upgrading your magic and common gear is not always worth the cost. Rare and exclusive gear will quickly outclass upgraded magic and common gear.
Cost
The player must pay gold to upgrade an item. The cost to upgrade an item upgrading depends on the item's current status and the type of upgrade. Upgrades to weapons are typically cheaper than upgrades for armor since weapons have less requirements. The amount of Gold required increases as an item is upgraded.
A new item will also have improved stats, which can improve its performance in various ways. This could include increasing the power of its attack critical strike chance, or damage per second. In addition an upgraded item could be able to provide extra bonuses to its equipped unit. These upgrades can be used to increase the overall strength of a unit or a single unit, and could be a major influence on the gameplay.
The NPC for upgrading items can be located in the game. Generally NPCs can be found in major cities or questing spots. You can also find upgraders of items in dungeons that feature high-level bosses, and speaking to NPCs at the garrisons of your faction.
The item upgrade system in World of Warcraft provides players with the ability to upgrade the levels of armor, weapons, and trinkets. This process is very similar to that of gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor, but instead of using the appropriate currency, players must visit an NPC to upgrade their items to complete the process.
Upgrades can be expensive, especially for armor and weapons. Based on the upgrade path, each step up in level of the item upgrader mod could cost many Valorstones and crests. The cost can be prohibitive for those who do not have the money, or are unwilling to grind.
The game allows you to roll a new item by using a special tool from the menu of items. This option replaces the upgraded item with an unlevel 1 version that has different bonus effects. This is a great way to improve the roll of items which are already upgraded. However, it can also be a waste.
Requirements

Additionally the upgraded item will get an additional stat that is based on its tier. A player can roll an upgraded item using a Reroll Token to exchange the upgrade for a new version. The new item has a different set extra bonuses, and is of a lower level of the item. Some upgraded items are only able to be rerolled if the original item was a Unique Epic, Rare or Rare. To upgrade a piece equipment, you must visit the NPC [Armoror Boboko located in Central Flarine. You will require Power Dices depending on the item. (Dice 6 are dropped by monsters 21+, Giants and Bosses; Dice 12 is dropped by Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.
Time
Upgrades to items can be used to improve the power of your gear and ship without the need to upgrade them. While upgrading isn't inexpensive, it's an excellent way to increase your stats without having to spend as much time fighting. It's crucial to know the benefits and costs prior to investing your money or time.
Each upgrade increases the stats of the item by to a certain extent and also gives a chance to get an additional substat. The random substat can vary from a modest increase to a significant boost. It's best to focus on the top-performing items in your slot first, as they'll give you a bigger return on your investment.
You can view the amount of time needed to complete an upgrade if you open your inventory and choose a weapon, ship or other accessory. The upgrade window will then display the progress and expected completion time. In certain cases, you may be able speed up the upgrade process by using a Glyph.
Black Lion Salvage or Ascended Salvage sell a top-quality salvage kit which allows you to recover all or a portion of upgrade components. Rewards
Item upgrading rewards players with a variety of items and currencies. Every upgrade has a chance of granting an random stat bonus. The bonus value differs for each upgrade, and is typically higher for items that are rarer. The Great Vault can be searched by players to determine whether an item is upgradeable. The search can assist in determining whether the item is of a particular tier and whether the player could benefit from an upgrade.
During the upgrade process, the item will slowly move closer to the next stage, but not always reach the fully upgraded bar. This process is based on Growthstones and Sollant however there is a 10% chance of getting an upgraded item within just one cycle. The more levels an item is upgraded to, the greater its boosted stats value and the more items it is able to upgrade to.
Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, weapons, or armor in order to gain an attribute bonus or an additional effect, when the equipment is worn. Certain upgrade components also have cosmetic effects. Upgrade components are available by crafting, buying from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving them as gifts. The player can transform an item upgrades to upgrade it into another item by selecting it and pressing the green button with a reroll arrow. This will alter the layout and allow players to select up to six items for "recycling". The item will be replaced with an item of level 1. Recycled items don't keep their status or the amount of resources needed to upgrade them.
The maximum level of upgrade for an item is determined by its quality and tier. Uncommon items can be upgraded up to an maximum of level six, while Rare and Epic items can be upgraded up to level nine. The upgrade of an item is added to its base statistics. This means that they won't increase in the future after a certain level.
