WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades can give you boost in certain statistics. Each upgrade boosts the level of an item by 3. Each upgrade also increases a random substat.

Upgraded gear is generally more useful, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or has a high variance in stats (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades are less useful for those with higher variance due to the need to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The upgrader for items allows players to upgrade items gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of armor or weapons. However, the item used for the upgrade will be consumed forever and will not be able to be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader is located in all major cities and is accessible anytime to upgrade your equipment. To keep your gear up-to-date it is recommended that you visit the upgrader each several weeks.

Upgrades will cost more depending on the item level upgrade (visit imoodle.win`s official website) level, however they'll always be cheaper than purchasing new gear. For instance upgrading a Benthic chest to 385 ilvl will cost 20 recycle points, while buying a similar item from another player will cost 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to purchase tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be bought by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for different currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once an upgrade has been purchased, it can be used on any weapon or tool with the help of button, which will show an image of the item at its next upgrade level when the player has enough materials.

The cost of upgrades varies based on the slot of the item upgrader kit and the current Best item upgrader level as well as the level of the weapon, which is more than gloves or bracers, for instance. Each upgrade cost 15 Flightstones and a variety of crests, with some upgrades having a discount to lower the cost of Flightstones or crests used. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain amount it can be re-downgraded and sold to the upgrader for a lower price.

A lot of locations offer upgraders for items which include the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon and the chance to obtain an entirely new recipe. The upgrade discount increases with the number of items being upgraded, and can be increased by requiring players to complete specific achievements or quests.

Unlike Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II there is no item upgrader available in the beginning of Icewind Dale. The NPCs that can assist with upgrades are only available through a variety of methods. This is both a benefit and a drawback.

In Season 3, several new features were added to the upgrade system. Once a player obtains an upgrade to a specific level of an item for a specific armor slot, upgrading other items to that same item level will cost less, even when they belong to a different gear set.

The amount of Valorstones needed for upgrades is decreased, and the discount is affixed to all accounts. The amount of Harbinger Crests needed to upgrade is reduced too, but it is only available after certain milestones have been reached.

Crests

When it comes to upgrading gear in WoW, players have a couple of choices. Flightstones are a currency that is available to all players for upgrading. Crests are more specific, and are used during specific item level upgrades. Crests are an essential part of the Dragonflight gear progression system, which was introduced in 10.1 and are available in four ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests are only able to be spent on gear of a specific rank, and that every rank has different requirements for upgrading. The simplest and simplest upgrade item is 15 crests. The most complicated upgrade could require as much as 20 crests, depending on the kind of gear that is being upgraded.

Players can earn crests through working through tasks at the appropriate level. This could mean doing outdoor activities, or by taking on dungeons and raids of any difficulty to earn lower-tier gear or Mythic+ raid bosses or dungeons with a heroic difficulty to obtain endgame gear. These crests can then be exchanged at an item upgrader NPC like Cuzolth in Dornogal, or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to get the appropriate upgrade paths and steps.

Using these new currencies isn't that difficult however, the system will introduce a few changes to the overall upgrade process. Once a piece of gear reaches the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it is no longer required to purchase Flightstones. This change allows players to upgrade their equipment to the highest level possible on all of their characters, instead of relying on seasonal loot.

It's also important to use crests with care, since they only have one use. For instance, it's a good idea utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests on the Best item upgrade gear you have available and save Drake and Wyrm crests for the next batch of upgrades you plan to make. This is especially relevant for trinkets and rings that occupy multiple slots on the character, which can only be eligible to benefit from the account-wide discount when all of the slots are filled with high-quality gear.
