The Importance of Upgrades in World of Warcraft
Upgrades are new items that boost your stats. You can upgrade armor weapons, trinkets and weapons with these.
To calculate probabilities, item upgrades are based on "upgrade pity". This system is designed to reduce odds of luck and offer an adequate safety net when upgrading.
Armor

Trinkets
