Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.
The racial Shield elite Razortail for instance, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable than the perfect non-upgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar item with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the quality of the original item and any resources that are wasted won't be compensated for.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in crates and chests or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute on a piece of equipment for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by melee and weapons while spell power upgrades mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an additional amount of health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To produce them, you require a higher level token for rerolling. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item upgrader mod that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The reroll marker, unlike other markers or tokens that are placed on action spaces, stays on the spot until the next success is rerolled. This is a way to ensure that upgrades are not wasted.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation Phase and are opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they display a full description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Blueprints can be exchanged for new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
This means that blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item by increasing its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade gear players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. When the requirements are met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. Depending on the item's rarity and rarity, the upgrade process could take between seconds and minutes.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to get an advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank accounts. Additionally players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to obtain them, including contract completion and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. It is accomplished by the combination of an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will be upgraded to an upgraded level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item upgrading has been attained.
Items that have upgraded stats will display an icon of blue next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components do not stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific quantity of items to be used, as well as a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item that they wish to upgrade. On the right, previews show what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. When players have enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each upgrade, the stats of the base item will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its maximum capacity, it will no longer have the option to upgrade. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a type of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools in order to provide an additional effect or bonus when the equipment is in use. They can be purchased from vendors, looted, or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones. However, this can destroy the old upgrade.
Requirements
Items upgrades enable players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item upgrader kit vary depending on the item type, but typically you'll need Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).
Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for added effects or a higher item level. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an item, it isn't able to be removed or changed without restriction, however, glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.
Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.
The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For instance, increases the base defense and adds an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire", on the other hand increases damage from weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they achieve a perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and could be worth as much as 20-50 times the value of an unupp'd counterpart.
The game will display the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the item type (either weapon or armor) the tier of that item as well as the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory once you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then update to show you how close you are towards getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
