World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your equipment is a vital aspect of equipping your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and enhancements of items.
They also provide rewards and upgrades. They are available from the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is located on any item upgrader mod. Every recycled item level upgrade adds one level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapon
When a weapon is upgraded, it gains a base damage bonus as well as a scaling factor that can affect other stats. The weapon could also gain a variety of upgrade components that provide additional effects or attributes as well as distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets, or gathering tools. Most require that the equipment has an upgrade slot that is available and meet certain requirements. The upgrade component can be removed from an armored weapon, weapon or trinket, but it is not replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit Ascended Salvage tool, or a higher-tier salvaging tool that is attached to an item upgrader mod.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a calibration attribute that improves certain stats, like Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This can be done via the Gear Workbench interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon it can be done up to four times.
Once the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement and is then modified to give different effects and bonuses or to boost specific stats. These upgrades can all be used simultaneously, and their effects will depend on how rare the weapon is.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area, and Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the type of damage that a weapon inflicts.
In general, it's advisable to improve your weapon's damage first. Then you can increase your armour defense and finally, the secondary stats that are required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading any other equipment. This can help increase DPS. This is particularly applicable to enchantments that boost a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
item upgrade Upgrades let players enhance the base stats of specific pieces of armor weapons, trinkets, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also have additional effects such as increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item Upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, in loot drops or as rewards for quests.
Armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. Most of the time an item of armor will be upgraded to next tier once an upgrade is applied. This is possible for all types of armor, though certain types of armor cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).
The majority of armor upgrades provide some improvement to the item's defense or strength. However, some upgrade components can offer significant improvements in strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an item that is epic.
In addition to increasing the base defense of an best item upgrade, certain upgrades also give specific abilities that can be activated while wearing a piece of armor. These abilities can prove useful in combat. For example they can increase attack speed or block. Certain upgrades can have passive effects that are useful for example, the ability to reduce damage while wearing armor or increasing the chance of avoiding an attack.
Upgrades to armor may require several attempts, depending on the type of armor. For example, if a player wanted to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of 59 and 67. The second attempt would result in an Dragonscale armor with a base defense of between 67-77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players to upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To do this players must visit each of the four locations known as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations holds the power of a fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not in any way useless. The fact of the matter is that certain armors have very significant increases in poison or curse, fire or magical damage reduction, making them very useful for specific builds. There are also ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to boost armor penetration or the challenger trait to lower total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by putting it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new tier of potion effects, and can be repeated to unlock more potencies.
The potions also gain a custom color, which can be selected by the player via /give. The color will affect the clouds that affect the area of effect as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, common and thick potions and awkward potions now have a new brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory the potion healing and weakness are now available. Addition of lingering potions, that can be prepared with splash potions or Dragon breath. Additionally, there is a thick potion which has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Problems related to this update are maintained on the Bug Tracker.
Trinket
A trinket can be described as a small ornament that is inexpensive or a piece of jewelry. It can be a necklace or ring. Or, it could be a tiny banner used to mark the yard of a boat. It can also refer to a trinket that is gilded on the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket is believed to be influencing the denizens of this maze which makes them more prevalent. At its current level it makes all types of mimic Xx more popular, and gives each floor a Y% chance to have an ebony-colored mimic. This trinket costs a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.
The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to alter the dungeon's environment, increasing its likelihood of generating water and grass. At its current level this trinket can make X% of the floors become filled with water or grass but doesn't affect enchantments or symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are created to aid in the elimination of hazards.
This item, which looks like eyes of a newt, seems to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond merely narrowing your field of vision. This trinket, at its current level, boosts the health benefits of drinking healing potion and wells of life by X%, and grants mind sight on enemies within Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with the Heightened Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you have completed the Mastery Cave. You will find them when you defeat Monsters, and in chests and crates. They are not in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will have an unintended impact on the trinket either extending its lifespan or enhancing its effects. You can reorge the Trinket as many times as you like but it will always have the same effect.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by only a tiny amount.
