Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations can be applied.
For instance, the premium racial shield Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll a purchased item like an armor, weapon or ring. This allows you to swap the item for a different one similar one with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an economical method of upgrading equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources won't be compensated for.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens by a variety of means, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be located in crates and chests, or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attribute of a piece equipment such as increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power increases the damage that melee and weapons, while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an additional amount of health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. To create them, you need a higher level reroll token. Enhanced upgrades require a common item, while rare upgrades require a unique or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker for rerolling, unlike markers or tokens placed on action areas, remains on the space until the next Success is rerolled. This helps to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by grasping them. When they are opened, they display a description and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for the amount of coins.
During the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls, and also those that are in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment, the player must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will display a list of the item upgrade's level, and what it will become after being leveled-up. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Typically, rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players must then select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the player has met the requirements, they can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the Best item upgrader's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is risk-free and doesn't affect the item's durability. This makes it an excellent way for players to get an advantage in battle without putting a strain on their bank accounts. Additionally players can transfer experience and the progress of an upgraded item to a new item upgrader by clicking the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to obtain these stones, such as signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests of the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been attained.
Items that have upgraded base stats display a blue icon in their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked with one another, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component requires a certain number of items as well as a certain equipment level.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add an item to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the gear will look like at its next level. Once the player has enough items by pressing the yellow arrow, it will begin the upgrade process.
An item of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item level upgrade is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
When an item reaches its highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. When a piece of equipment is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to offer an added bonus or effect when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs that can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type however, you'll usually require Dilithium as well as the number of Upgrade tokens.

For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire", however, increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players when they get the perfect roll. For example, a perfect-rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.
When you choose an upgrade component to be inserted into an item the game will show a pop-up window that shows the necessary requirements. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will put an item in your inventory when you've met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close to getting the upgrade completed. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by going to any NPC that upgrades items.
