World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading
Item upgrading allows players to boost the gear score of an item upgrader mod up to 700 and add an additional perk. Items can be upgraded by keeping them in inventory before heading to the kiln.
Certain items are worth upgrading because of their unique stats. (For instance the perfect broken point armor that is rolled can be used in melee PvP). Other items like weapons aren't changed much after an upgrade, and aren't worth the cost.
Weapons
Weapons can be upgraded to improve their numeric stats such as crit chance, attack damage PvE and damage to PvP. They also have a flat bonus which increases the damage they deal per second. Many weapons also have a fixed bonus which is activated when three or more identical weapons are equipped in a group. In certain instances, this bonus could amount to more than the amount of damage that a weapon can sustain on its own.
A weapon's upgrade costs depend on the quality of the weapon and its current level. For example, an +2 weapon requires two standard Smithing Stones while a+3 requires four. The number of stones required to upgrade the gun will increase until it needs more Smithing Stones. At that point it will reset to one.
Upgrading weapons will also reroll their base stats. This is generally a positive aspect, but it may also have negative effects. In the case of items that are only used in a certain build (Whistant's shield for FB sorcs for instance) upgrading them can render them unusable unless you get a fortunate roll.
It is possible to upgrade armor items to increase their performance. This can boost the base defense of a helm or chest as well as belts and gloves. These will boost their required strength and agility. Armor also offers the option of rerolling its Enhanced Defense%, meaning that it could roll back to a lower number.
The upgrade template for a weapon shows the new stats that it will gain upon upgrading in addition to their respective values. This means that an upgrade from a sword that has 8 damage to an 11-attack-damage sword would result in a weapon gaining 3% of attack damage. However, the 3% doesn't mean that it will hit 3 times less often, since it is an absolute number.
A weapon can be rerolled by pressing the green button, which is accompanied by arrows that circle in the menu for items. This will reroll an item and alter its stats but it will not reset the weapon's levels or tie it to the account status.
Armor
A few upgrades to your armor can make a huge difference in your ability to survive. Certain sets offer massive boosts to poison or curse, fire, and magic resistance, which makes it easier to navigate through tough terrain. In general, the more defense you have on your character, the more health you will get from each point. So, it's Best item upgrader to upgrade your armor.
To upgrade your armor, head to one of the Great Fairy Fountains in the game. There are four of them each of which requires you to complete a unique side quest that involves the Stable Trotters musical troupe. Once you've completed the main quest and the associated fountains, you can talk to any Great Fairy in order to unlock the menu for upgrading armor.
The amount of material needed to upgrade each piece of armor is different. In general, you're looking at anything from three to five Red Chuchu Jellies and 10 Rupees for the initial upgrade, and anywhere between five Rubies and 10 Fire-Breath Lizalfos Horns for each subsequent upgrade. The Champion Leathers, for example can be upgraded to an increase of 5 defense rating, which will allow you to remain competitive in cold environments with a large group of enemies. The Snowquill Headdress, on the other is able to be upgraded to +20 defense to ensure you can survive a raid with your friends.
You can't upgrade your armor the same as weapons. If you're playing as a Warrior it is Best item upgrader to focus on upgrading your armor for physical power or the power of spells. It's also a good idea to save your armor upgrades to use for armor you'll be wearing at the end of the game, such as the Ring of Lightning and Spectral Shield or the helmet you use for the final boss battle, the Monter Parts Merchant's mask.
You can also gain advantages to your armor by presenting the jeweler in Gerudo Town 10 Twinkling Titanite. Generally speaking, you'll want to save these upgrades for the weapon you'll be using to beat the game, like the Longsword, Battleaxe or Warhammer however, it could be beneficial to have a few upgrades of the helmets and chest armor that permit you to sneak past some monsters.
Potions
Potions are liquids that, when consumed by the participant, produce a temporary effect for a short period of time. There are five kinds of potions, each with different effects and durations. Some potions may be upgraded, enhancing their level of effect. Additionally the effects of some potions can be enhanced by adding glowstone dust or redstone to them.
Potion upgrades cost a certain amount of XP. These can be earned by making them on a crafting table or in the chest of the Alchemist. The price of upgrades is dependent on the type of potion you'd like to upgrade, as well as on the item's Mark Level and Rarity.
To upgrade a potion, right-click on it in your inventory and choose the "Upgrade" option from the menu. This will open an GUI where you can select the potions you want to upgrade and the amount of XP they'll produce when upgraded. You can upgrade potions in batches of up to five at a time and their XP will be added to the total XP you currently have.
Once a potion is upgraded in quality, it will not deteriorate in the event that you use it again or break the bottle within which it is stored. Clicking on the potion in your inventory will also allow you to change its name.
There were some changes to the mechanics of potions in version 1.7.2. For example splash potions now have the duration of zero,08 seconds (this is not the same as the 22.5 seconds that are displayed on the hover display of the item upgrader kit). The potion table can now be constructed using four Wood Planks and two Glass. It is now able to be used in both Survival and Bedrock. Unlike the Java Edition, Bedrock edition potions are not able to be used in cauldrons. The same applies to using a potion in the cauldron that is filled. This will draw out the potion and refill the bottle.
In addition, there are lingering potions that are made with splash and dragon breath potions. Redstone can also be added to lingering potions to extend their effect. The table of potion ingredients has been rearranged to appear more like the Java Edition. New potions are also added, for instance, the potion of leaping and decomposition.
Trinkets
A trinket is a tiny and inexpensive ornament or piece of jewelry. It can also refer to an object or ornament that serves a function but is not important as a Thimble. In certain traditions, trinkets are used to symbolize affection or friendship, specifically between family members.
In addition to weapons, armor and potions, players can upgrade their trinkets. Upgrades can be made by paying the appropriate currency to an upgrade vendor. Unlike other item upgrades trinkets, trinkets can be exchanged at will without losing their status.
Upgrade vendors can be found at the capitals of each zone, and in some instances in dungeons. Upgrades for trinkets can be purchased with gold, tokens, or fragments from rare trinkets.
The upgrade of a trinket can be a cost-effective alternative to purchasing new ones. It is possible to upgrade a player for less than 12 tokens. The new trinket will come with the same base ilvl as the previous one, and will include an additional 1% upgrade bonus.
Once the old Trinkets are not usable they can be upgraded. This allows a player to increase both their power and value over time. They can be traded among players, making them an alternative to gold.
Players should upgrade their most important items first. This usually means the Best item upgrade-in-slot items for their class, followed by their secondaries and then other items of gear will not be replaced soon (for example an earring or cloak). It is also important to consider your class's preferred stats when deciding which items to upgrade. If Haste and Crit are two of the most important stats to a tank player and they want to upgrade their chest, helm, and shoulders.
After they've become unusable trinkets can be upgraded to a higher level. The new trinket has an additional bonus of 1. However, a re-upgrade is likely to ruin the previous trinket until it is saved using the Black Lion Salvage Kit or an alternative salvage tool that is higher-end. This means upgrading trinkets is more expensive than other upgrades, yet is still less expensive than buying the new one.
