The upgrading of your equipment is an essential element of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage as well as enhancements of items.
They also offer bonus effects and improvements. They can be purchased from the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item level upgrade by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds a level to the upgrade gauge.
Weapons
When a weapon gets upgraded, it will gain an initial damage bonus as well as an adjustment factor that affects other stats. Certain upgrade components come with aesthetic effects while others give additional features. In addition to the basic upgrades, a weapon may be upgraded with a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats, such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Based on the level of the weapon it can be done up to four times.
After the weapon has reached its maximum upgrade, it can then be reforged to add different bonuses and effects, or to improve specific stats. These upgrades can be used simultaneously and the effects differ based on how rare the weapon is.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area, and Smithing Master Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.
In general, it's advisable to increase the damage of your weapon first. Then you can increase your armour defense and, finally those secondary stats required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapons before upgrading any other gear. This will increase DPS. This is particularly relevant to enchantments that can be extremely effective in boosting the weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
Best item upgrade (visit Pdc now >>>) Upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of certain pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also bring additional effects, like additional damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item upgrades are available through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors or loot drops, or as rewards for quests.
Armor can be improved by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most of the time, a piece of armor will be upgraded to the next tier once an upgrade is applied. This can be done for any type of armor, though some items cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the starter armor in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades increase the item's strength or defense by only a tiny amount. However, certain upgrade components can provide significant enhancements to strength or defense, especially when upgrading an item that is epic.
Certain upgrades grant special abilities which can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be helpful in combat, such as providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades also provide useful passive effects, like reducing the amount of damage that is taken while wearing armor or adding the chance to avoid attacks.
Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item upgrading can require multiple tries. For instance the case of a player wanting to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of 59 and 67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has a base defense between 67-77, and the list goes on.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild allows players to upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do this, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains that are located in the game. Each of these locations is home to an incredibly powerful fairy who can upgrade a piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not useless. Certain armors give a substantial boost in the reduction of damage from poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them beneficial for certain builds. There are other ways to increase the strength of armor apart from upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetrating or the challenger trait to decrease total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade opens a different tier of potion effects, and is able to be repeated to increase the potency.
The potions also have an individual color, which can be chosen by the player using /give. This color will affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as the arrows that are generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, the mundane and thick potions as well as awkward potions now have a new the texture of brewing. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness are now available. Trinket
A trinket is an inexpensive, small ornament or piece jewelry. It could be a ring or necklace. Or, it could be a tiny banner used to mark the yard of a lateen boat. It can also refer to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket seems to be influencing the residents of this maze, making them more common. This trinket, at its current level makes all types Xx of mimics more prevalent and gives each floor a probability of Y% that it has an ebony replica. Upgrades to this trinket cost an amount of energy.
The enchanted Scepter's magic appears to influence the dungeon by increasing the probability of producing water and grass. This trinket at the current level will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with grass or water. It will not alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed armor or weapons, or items that are generated to aid in the elimination of the dangers in rooms.
This item, which looks like a eyes of a nymph is believed to affect your vision in a way that goes beyond just narrowing your field of vision. This trinket, in its current level, boosts the health benefits gained from drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X% and also gives mind sight to enemies within Y tile. This trinket cannot be combined with the Increased Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you have completed the Mastery Cave. You can find them by defeating Monsters, and in chests and crates. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
When you have a trinket which requires upgrading, place it in the Anvil to do so. This will have an effect on the trinket, either increasing or strengthening its effects. You can reorge the Trinket for as many times as you wish, however it will always have an effect that is different from the one that it had when you made it.
You can also improve your Trinkets by putting them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost 6 energy, however it will increase the power of the trinket by a tiny amount.
