World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your equipment is an essential aspect of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the base damage and enchantments of items.
They also offer bonus effects and enhancements. They can be acquired by contacting the Blacksmith.
Players can recycle any item level upgrade by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge of upgrade.
Weapon
When a weapon is upgraded, it will gain a base damage bonus, as well as a scaling factor which affects other stats. Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. Both upgrade materials are different: Smithing Stones to modify the type of damage that weapons deal and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the standard weapons.
In general, it is recommended to increase the damage of your weapon first, followed by armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. It is not unusual to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading any other gear. This will increase DPS. This is particularly relevant for enchantments that increase a weapon's stats as well as damage.
Armor
Item Upgrades allow players to enhance the base stats of certain pieces of armor weapons, trinkets, trinkets and gathering tools. Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in a brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new level of potion effect and can be repeated to get more potency levels.
The potion also gets a custom color code which the player can select by using /give. This can affect the area-of-effect clouds as well as arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.

Place the trinket into the Anvil whenever it is required to be upgraded. This will have an effect on the trinket which is random and will either increase or strengthen its effects. You can reforge the Trinket as often as you'd like, but it will always have an effect that is new.
You can upgrade your Trinkets in the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. This will cost 6 energy, but increase the power of the trinkets by a tiny amount.
