Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a special item upgrader that makes certain Pokemon change. The upgrade can be made by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It's often given as a prize during Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be used on armors, weapons trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools to boost their level. The upgrade costs Flightstones and crests, dependent on the type of item upgrade.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into trinkets, armors, weapons and gathering tools in order to increase attributes bonuses or other effects while using the equipment. Upgrade components are only available on equipment that has an upgrade slot available. The majority of upgrade components require that the item to be upgraded is above a certain level. Some upgrade items have special visual effects that are visible when they are applied. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, purchased from karma sellers, traded with other players on the Trading Post, taken from equipment, or acquired as rewards in game.
There are different upgrade components, each of which comes with a different bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions are able to be used on any type of equipment. They offer fewer bonuses than the other types of upgrade component. Infusions can be used on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, while enrichments can be used on some back equipment that has been ascended. Most upgrade components can be replaced if they are slotted into an item upgrades, but doing so destroys the previous upgrade. There are exceptions for glyphs (which can only be used in gathering tools) and enchantments, which are able to be removed and then reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will be displayed their names in the hover display of the item, while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their names to the end of the name of the equipment (e.g., a Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components that have been added to an equipment piece will be displayed in the item's tooltip.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add decorative and functional elements to an OpenType font. These include ligatures, fractions or ornaments, as well as registered trademark symbols, ellipses, swashes and swashes. The Glyphs panel allows you to view and insert these special characters as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dashes registered trademark symbols and glyphs that don't appear in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph gives a primary stat boost for the character. It also comes with up to four Secondary Stats that affect the glyph's radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied by additional bonuses, excluding Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will bring up a window that displays the Glyphs available to you. You are only able to apply the correct Glyph to the item you have selected. Each weapon or armor piece has a different collection of Glyphs.
You can increase the level of Glyphs by finishing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the Dungeon is, the greater Glyph experience you'll earn. Once a Glyph reaches level 15 and is upgraded, it can be upgraded by the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The Paragon Board's radius increases by one node every 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
After a Glyph reaches the desired level you can activate it. Select it, then click the "enchant button". The Glyph you create will provide its stated bonus, and also boost all other nodes in its area on the Paragon Board. It is important to place glyphs in the best locations to benefit your build, and that is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Rare glyphs, however, may offer dual bonuses when certain conditions are fulfilled and therefore are worth checking out for too.
Click the cycle widget to change the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each view will display the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the list of glyphs by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limit the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process of creating an account on a different account to increase your chances of getting the weapon or character you'd like. It is done to increase your level faster, or to get more valuable loot like a new weapon for your character. Many players roll again until they find the characters that they like regardless of their strength. It could be because they like the design or personality of the character.
When you reroll, you have to ensure that the changes you're making are clean. This means that you must verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit checks and run a core development check. You should upload the patch with a clear distinction to a problem (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls can take days or even weeks to complete, based on your luck. To cut down on time, avoid enemy camps that are optional during this time. In addition, you should avoid re-doing any quests that are completed later in the game. This will save you time and energy.
When rerolling, it's important to be aware of the upgrade system. There are many ways to boost your character's strength and appearance. Upgrades, rerolling characters, and upgrading weapons are all options. It is also important to know the limitations of the system.
Rerolling isn't an absolute requirement however it can be an effective way to increase your chances of getting the right character or weapon. You can use it to find the best character or to play around with different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection with 2 common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen, or the members of a group). Sets can be used for operations such as union, intersection and difference.
When you upgrade a set item, it is an entirely new version that is superior to the previous version. For weapons and armor this means that it gets an increase in the base defense, an lower strength requirement, and a lower amount of requirement.
Upgrading is a great way to bring popular single-set items to the same level as their higher-tier set counterparts. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to Elite Spired Helm can increase the defense from 217 to 321 while reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more attainable range.
However it's important to keep in mind that not all set items are good candidates for upgradation. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield spec or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already exceptional and elite in their own right and don't need upgrading. Certain items, like Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are used frequently may require an upgrade to increase their stats. For these types of products, it might be worth the extra cost to upgrade them.
