Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a special item that will make certain Pokemon develop. The Upgrade is obtained by spinning a PokeStop photo disc. It is sometimes offered as a prize during Pokemon GO events.
Upgrades can be applied to weapons, armors, trinkets, and gathering tools in order to increase the level of their item. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests based on the kind of item upgrader kit.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons, armors and gathering tools in order to increase attributes bonuses or other effects while the equipment being used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment with an upgrade slot available. The majority of upgrade components require that the item being upgraded is above a certain level. Some upgrade items also have special effects when they are added to an item upgrade of equipment. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, purchased from karma merchants or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post, taken from equipment, or as rewards in games.
There are different upgrade components, each of which comes with a different bonus. Universal upgrades, such as gems and inscriptions can be used on any kind of equipment. They provide smaller bonuses than the other types of upgrade component. Infusions are used in non-amulet equipment that is ascended and legendary equipment, and enrichments are utilized for certain ascended back items. Inserting an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, which can only be used in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both are able to be removed and replaced.
Insignias Enchantments, insignias, and upgrades with prefixes or suffixes will be displayed in the hover display of the item while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia could change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrades that are added to an item upgrader mod will be visible in the tooltip of the item level upgrade.
Glyphs
Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add functional or decorative elements, such as ligatures, fractions, ornaments, swashes registered trademark symbols, and ellipses. The Glyphs panel allows you to see and insert these particular characters as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dieshes registered trademark symbols and characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph gives an initial boost in stats for the character. The glyph could also be equipped with up to four secondary stats that affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase that is multiplied by other bonuses, with the exception of Speed Glyphs that directly increase the speed of the hero.
Selecting the Glyphs and then clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will open a new window showing the Glyphs you have available that can be applied to the selected item upgrading. Make sure you select the right type of Glyph can be applied to the selected item and each weapon, piece of jewelry or armor piece can have an array of different Glyphs.
You can increase the level of Glyphs by completing Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience that you will get. Once a Glyph is at level 15, it can be upgraded on the Glyph Upgrade Altar. The radius of the Paragon Board grows by one node each 15 levels that a Glyph is upgraded.
Once a Glyph has reached the desired level, it is possible to activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The resulting glyph will provide its stated benefit and also boost the other nodes that are within its radius on the Paragon Board. It is important to place glyphs in the best locations to benefit your build, and that is why it's recommended to prioritize Magic Glyphs early on. Some glyphs, however, might offer dual benefits when certain conditions are satisfied which is why they're worth checking out for.
Click the cycle widget to change the view of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs by choosing an option below "Entire Font". For instance, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limit the choices to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method in which you open a new account to give yourself more chances to access a character or weapon that you are interested in. This can be done for you to increase your level faster or to get better loot such as the purchase of a new weapon for your character. Many players play until the character they desire is available, regardless of strength. It could be that they like the design or personality of the character.
You must ensure that you make clean changes when you reroll. This means that you must verify locally that the patch passes the pre-commit tests, and you should also conduct a core development test. Upload the patch with a clear difference to a problem (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls may take a few days or weeks depending on how lucky you are. To speed up the process, avoid the enemy camps which are not mandatory during this time. Also, avoid repeating quests that can be completed later in the game. This can save you time and energy.
Another important consideration when rerolling is to be sure that you are aware of the upgrade system. There are several ways to improve your character's strength and appearance. This could include upgrading your weapons, rerolling your characters and purchasing upgrades. In addition, it is important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling isn't a required part of the game, however it can be beneficial to increase the chances of winning an item or character. You can use it to find the Best item upgrade character or to experiment with different playstyles and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection with 2 common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of a group). Sets can be used to perform operations like union, intersection and difference.
If you upgrade a set item, it is an upgraded version that is superior to the previous version. This means that armor and weapons will have a greater defense and lower requirements for strength.
Upgrades are a great way to bring popular single-set items into level with their higher-tiered set counterparts. For instance, upgrading Guillaume's Face helm to Elite Spired Helm boosts the defense from 217 to 321 and reduces the strength requirement and level requirement to a lower range.
However it's important to remember that not all set items are suitable candidates for upgradation. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc spec's Whistan's Shield or Naj's Puzzler staff, are already Exceptional and Elite in their own right and do not require any upgrades. Certain items, like Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are often used, could require an upgrade to boost their value. For these types of items, it may be worth the extra expense to upgrade them.
