Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades can sometimes increase the performance of a piece of equipment and at times even add additional features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the amount of random enhancements that are applied.
The elite racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption function in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more marketable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item, such as a weapon, armor or rings. This swaps the current item upgrader for another similar item with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable option to upgrade equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item upgrading, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
The survivors can get tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates, or purchased from the market for 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment for example, increasing the damage it can cause.
Players can roll their equipment in three aspects that include physical power, magical power, and health. Physical power increases the damage done by weapons and melee attacks and spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give players additional health.
Three types of reroll tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item upgrader mod to a better quality, with the requirement of an upgraded reroll token in order to make it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
The marker that rerolls, unlike special tokens or markers placed on action spaces, remains on the space until the next success is being rerolled. This lets you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear as envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they display an explanation and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's store for a small amount of coins.
In the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to chosen Franchise Cards. This affects the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the level of an item upgrading by improving its stats or attributes. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a cost. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by completing daily contracts.
To upgrade their gear players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to do so. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas rare armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.
After selecting the item to upgrade the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the player has met the requirements, he can click the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last between a few seconds and minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the item's durability. This makes it an excellent way for players to get an advantage in battle without putting stress on their accounts. Moreover, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are numerous ways to acquire them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that lets you increase the power of weapons and armor. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a cost of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will receive an upgrade to a higher level. This process continues until the item reaches its maximum level.
Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as an icon of blue next to their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments cannot be applied to more than one item at the same time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.
The Upgrade Station features two slots: the left is where players can put in equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Once a player has enough materials by pressing the yellow arrow, it will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded up to five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will no longer be available for it. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades for that track will come with discounts.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that is able to be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to provide an additional benefit or bonus while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired by completing quests, or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so will damage the previous upgrade, except for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.
Requirements
item upgrades (telegra.ph) give players the ability to increase certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type however, you'll generally require Dilithium and a number Upgrade tokens.
The items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade item components to equipment and weapons. These will provide additional effects or an increase in item level. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, including crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade element is inserted into an item, it isn't able to be removed or substituted without restriction, however glyphs placed in gathering tools can be swapped out without restriction.
Upgrades can increase the Mark Level or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components come with additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense and provides an additional 20% chance of blocking. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" boosts weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve the perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly valued in the melee PvP community and can be worth 20-50x the non-upp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item the game will display an open window that displays the requirements required for that item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor), the tier of the item as well as the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will place an item in your inventory after you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show how close you are to finishing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
