Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components
An upgrade item is a unique item that will make certain Pokemon change. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a PokeStop's picture disc and is sometimes offered as a reward in Pokemon GO events.
The Upgrade can also be placed in weapons, armor trinkets, and gathering tools to increase the level of their item upgrader kit. The upgrade costs Flightstones or crests depending on the type of item upgrade.
Upgrade components
Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give attribute bonuses or additional effects while the equipment is being used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot available. The majority of upgrade components require that the item to be upgraded is above a specific level. Certain upgrade items come with special visual effects that can be seen when they are used. Upgrade components can be acquired through crafting, bought from karma merchants or exchanged with other players on the Trading Post or salvaged from equipment, or acquired as rewards during games.
There are different upgrade components, each of which comes with various bonuses. Universal upgrades such as gems and inscriptions are able to be used on any type of equipment. They provide smaller bonuses than the other types of upgrade component. Infusions are utilized in non-amulet ascended equipment as well as legendary equipment, while enrichments are used for some items that have been ascended. Most upgrade components can be replaced if they are inserted into an item, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs which can only be inserted in gathering tools, as well as enchantments. Both can be removed and reinserted.
Insignias and enchantments will show their name in the hover display of the item, while prefix and suffix upgrades will add their name to the end of the equipment's name (e.g. an Radiant Insignia on Tyrian Armor would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrade components that have been added to an item will be displayed in the tooltip for the item.
Glyphs
Glyphs can be used to add decorative and functional elements to an OpenType font. They include ligatures, fractions, or ornaments, as well registered trademark symbols such as ellipses, swashes, and swashes. The Glyphs panel lets you view and insert these special characters, as well as normal glyphs, such as em dashes and en dieshes registered trademark symbols, as well as characters that are not found in other fonts (such as dingbats).
Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in their primary stats. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats that will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage increase which is multiplied once other bonuses are applied in addition to Speed Glyphs which directly increase the speed of the hero.
The Glyphs in your inventory can be activated by selecting them, and then clicking the "enchant" button. This will display a new window with the Glyphs you own that can be applied to the item you have selected. Be aware that only the correct kind of Glyph can be applied to the item upgrader you are looking for and each weapon, piece of jewelry or armor piece may have distinct sets of Glyphs.
You can increase the level of Glyphs by working through Tree of Whisper Quests or Nightmare Dungeons. The more difficult the dungeon, the higher the amount of Glyph experience that you will get. Once a Glyph is at level 15 it is upgradeable at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrading a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.
Once a glyph has been upgraded to its desired level You can activate it by selecting it and then pressing the "enchant" button. The resulting Glyph will give its stated benefit, and will also boost other nodes within its area on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go where they will benefit your building the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. Rare glyphs could also provide double bonuses if certain conditions can be met.
If you're having difficulty finding a particular glyph click the cycle widget on the Glyphs panel to show the panel in a number of perspectives. Each view displays the Glyphs using a different font. You can narrow down the selection of glyphs you want to see by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font". For example, punctuation is only displayed in punctuation glyphs. Math Symbols limits the selection to mathematical symbols.
Rerolling
Rerolling is the process by which you create a brand new account to give yourself more chances to play an item upgrading or character you are interested in. This can be done to help you level up faster or to get more loot, for example, an improved weapon for your character. Many players play until the character they wish to play is available, regardless of power. It could be because they like the design or the personality of the character.
When you reroll, you have be sure that the changes you're making are clean. You should check locally to see if the patch passes pre-commit and run a core dev check. You should upload the patch with a plain difference to a bug (see What is an interdiff?) ).
Rerolls can take days or even weeks to complete, based on your luck. During this time, it is recommended to avoid any optional enemy camps to avoid wasting time. Also, avoid repeating quests that you can complete later on in the game. This will save you time and energy.
Another important aspect to consider when rerolling is making sure that you are aware of the upgrade system. There are many ways to enhance your character's strength and appearance. These can include upgrading your weapons or characters, rerolling them and buying upgrades. Additionally, it is important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.
Rerolling might not be a necessity, but it is an option to increase your chances of getting an item or character. It could be beneficial in the case of trying to find the best character to play or if you want to try different play styles and builds.
Sets
A set is a group of objects that share common attributes (like the number of eggs in a dozen, or the members of a class). Sets permit operations like union, intersection, and difference.
Upgrades can make a set better than it was before. For armor and weapons this means it will gain an increase in the base defense as well as less strength requirements and an lower level requirement.
Upgrading is a great way to bring popular single-set items to level with their higher-tiered set counterparts. For example, upgrading Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired Helm boosts the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more manageable range.
However it's important to remember that not all set items are suitable candidates for upgrading. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield or Naj's puzzlers are Exceptional in their own rights and don't require any upgrades. Certain items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are frequently used may require an upgrade to boost their value. It might be worthwhile to upgrade these items.
