Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile, multi-purpose stroller. It can be converted from a single stroller to a double stroller by adding the second seat (sold separately) or a glider board. The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection can be set up to be a triple travel system by adding an infant car seat. It offers 24 different configurations and is a top stroller overall. This model utilizes Baby Jogger's breathable, soft TENCEL fabric that aids in thermal regulation and are sustainably sourced. It includes a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It is 20percent smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double stroller available, the UPPAbaby V2.
It comes with a medium-sized shade as well as an open-air window with a magnet, which is easy to close or open. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable and works for parents of all heights. The seats recline, and they have a footwell adjustment knob to allow you to position your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin is roomy however we would prefer it had a latch that is more secure. It's easy to reach, but we discovered the zippers to be somewhat frustrating as they have to be completely removed and refastened every time you use it.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breaks that are simple to set up and release by pulling a lever on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and is an improvement over the awkward toe-pinch brake lever that a few of the competitors utilize.
This is the only stroller we reviewed that can accept two infant seats. It's a great option for parents with twins or an infant on the way. It can fit most infant car seats made by major brands with an adapter. We tested it with the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is incompatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It is a great option for families with a car seat and need an appropriate stroller however, you might be better off with another convertible stroller that can fit an additional car seat in this instance.
