Rerolling
Rerolling is the process of creating a new account in order to increase your chances of acquiring the weapon or character you'd like. This can be done in order for you to increase your level faster or to obtain more valuable loot like a new weapon for your character. Many players play until the character they desire is available, regardless of power. It could be that they like the style or personality of the character.
You should ensure that you make clean changes every time you reroll. You should verify locally whether the patch is approved by the pre-commit test and run a core dev check. You should also upload the patch to an issue by using a plain diff (see What is an interdiff? ).
Rerolls can take days or weeks, depending on how lucky you are. To speed up the process be sure to avoid enemy camps that are optional during this time. Also, avoid repeating quests that you can complete later on in the game. This will save time and energy.
Another crucial aspect to remember when rerolling is to make sure you are aware of the upgrade system. There are numerous ways to enhance your character's appearance and strength. This includes upgrading your weapons or characters, rerolling them and buying upgrades. It is also important to be aware of the limitations of the system.
Rerolling may not be a necessity, but it is an option to increase your chances of getting a certain character or weapon. You can use it to determine the Best item upgrader character or to experiment with different styles of play and builds.
Sets
A set is an object collection with 2 common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen, or the members of a group). Sets permit operations like union, intersection and distinction.
When you upgrade an Item Upgrade, it transforms into an upgraded version that is superior to the previous one. This means that armor and weapons will have a greater defense and lower requirements for strength.
Upgrades can bring items that are popular from single sets to the same level as those in higher-level sets. For example upgrading Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired Helm boosts the defense from 217 to 321 while also reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more attainable range.
It is important to keep in mind that not all items in a set are suitable for upgrading. Some sets, such as the FB Sorc Whistan's Shield spec or Naj's Puzzler staff are already Elite and Exceptional in their own right and do not require upgrading. Certain items, such as Goldwrap and Whistan's Shield (both BiS) that are often used, could require an upgrade to increase their value. For these types of products, it might be worth the extra expense to upgrade them.
