World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can boost the value of weapons, armors and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as Crit chance and damage from PvE.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is in %, the weapon will increase 3percent of its previous attack damage every time it is upgraded.

The cost of upgrading an item is determined by the item's level. The cost increases as the item's level increases.

Components

Upgrade components are items that can be slotted into armor, weapons, and trinkets to provide an additional stat boost or effect while they're in use. They can be acquired through crafting, buying from vendors trading or looting. Certain upgrades also come with special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to equipment that has a slot. The Best item upgrader must be at least upgraded to blue before the component can be used. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used one time; they cannot be applied multiple times or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and Enrichments are a type of upgrade component that can be used to upgrade non-amulet legendary or ascended equipment, as well other items that are not ascended. Infusions and enrichments are recovered by salvaging ascended gear or completing an elite task in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may include a suffix or prefix, modifying the name of the item to which it is applied (for instancethe "Canthan Armor Insignia is changed to Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions of the item using less upgrade crystals than they need to reach the same level using standard methods.

A 'boost' upgrade can alter the attack or defense attributes of the weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player has completed the cutscene, and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. They can be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear or by purchasing them from the cash store for 500 upgrade crystals each.

The player can get the maximum of five boost upgrades at a time. Each upgrade increases the probability that a better-quality version of the item will appear in the next reset. This gives the player an incentive to continue upgrading their gear, even if they're unsure of how much it will improve after a future reset.

If a boost upgrade is successful or not, the process could be costly, and there is a significant possibility that the item will be obsolete or even break if it fails; a unsuccessful upgrade could ruin the Upgrade Crystals and Assist Powder as well as the upgraded item. This is mitigated by the availability of cash shop items that can increase or even eliminate the chances of failure, as well as a few upgrades that give an additional benefit when they are inserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets with special functions. Glyphs can boost the performance of nodes within a radius, and include any existing attaches. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways, and we recommend getting them to level 15 as soon as possible.

You will often find in the endgame that putting Glyphs is a great way to upgrade your gear. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded straight to level 15, and they provide significant boosts to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to climb higher nodes faster.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced, but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without any restrictions. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and replaced by using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to increase the value of the Glyph.

Glyphs are available in the Black Lion Trading Post as part of a Gem Store bundle or purchase them with certain tools that are unlimited in use, and during Faction Crypt Raids. Every Faction Crypt has the possibility of dropping one of the various Glyphs, and there are also a few rare glyphs that can be found in the form of drops from any of the four Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs, you will have to put them on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus that will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes that are within the radius of the Glyph. Depending on the Glyph the bonus will be +40 to one of your primary stats, or +25 to two of your secondary stats.

Using Glyphs Glyph will boost all nodes that are connected to it, so you should try to place your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximize the impact. Druids, for instance should position their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might be able to place them near their critical damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrades upgrading system allows players to improve the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components into them. This is known as "upping". Every upgradeable item is assigned an amount that determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be upgraded up to a maximum of 385 ilvl. Each level of an item requires a different number of components to be reached, and the upgrade costs increase as the item is leveled up.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be purchased from NPCs or on the upgrade tab in crafting tables. Each completed Upgrade Recipe yields a number of Technology Points. These points can be used to level up the item, and once enough points are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and its additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When a player upgrade a piece of equipment the original item is replaced by the new item. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will also have its own set bonus. This could be a problem, as it can make the item more expensive, even if you don't require it.

If the player has enough tokens they can roll the upgrade of their item. The item will be replaced with the same item, but it is based on a level 1 base and completely different bonuses. This can be useful but it should not be used frequently as it could waste resources.

Some upgrades can be rerolled multiple times which increases their value and allows the player to modify their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, since it grants an increase in power if the player continuously enters or leaves the water. The Best item upgrader can be upgraded many times by increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is very useful in PvP. A perfectly rolled version can be worth as much as 50x the value of a unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to boost the quality of their equippable gear--armor, weapons and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by presenting the appropriate items and currencies to an NPC that upgrades items. Upgrades to armor set pieces also boost the defense base of the item, and upgrading weapons will increase the base damage and the strength and dexterity required to meet the upgraded equipment's requirements.

All items are upgradeable up to five times except for hero equipment, which is able to be upgraded eight times. Each time you upgrade an item, it has a chance to fail--the failure rate increases the more you exceed the maximum number of upgrades. Failures can cause the item level upgrade to revert to its original state, which will force the user to spend more materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the highest number of upgrades.

If an item is not upgraded, the experience bar in the bar for growth will be reset to zero. Additionally, the item will lose any bonuses it gained such as crit chance, attack damage, as well as all other effects that are associated with that effect (for example, increased heal over time or the speed of reloading). However, the player can continue to use the weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from lowest to highest. This means that when a weapon gains an increase in the chance of crit it will be applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a brand new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is calculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources needed to upgrade an item is dependent on its rarity score and upgrade slot count. The cost for upgrading non-premium items is the same as the base value of the upgrade--for instance, a typical equipment item might have 5 upgrades at a cost of 25,600 Technology Points and 4x Quality Improvement Chance--whereas hero grade items will come with the lowest cost for each upgrade.

Premium items have different requirements for upgrading than standard gear--for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but they will require more minerals and erons. Regardless, the player will have to visit the NPC [ArmorBoboko in Central Flarine. Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they wish to upgrade. Each upgrade of equipment will require different amounts of ingredients for upgrading, in addition to the expenses listed above.
