Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrades to gear increase its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations applied.
For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorb capability in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for a different one similar item, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method of upgrading gear. They don't maintain the original level of the item and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens through several means like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought from the store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.
Players can reroll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades an item to a better quality, with the requirement of a higher-quality reroll token order to make it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a special or a legendary item, and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The reroll marker, unlike other special tokens or markers placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next Success is to be rerolled. This lets you not waste upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new Appliance or Ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.
During the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool based on selected Franchise Cards. This affects the kind of blueprints that a restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones

These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can find these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first identify the appropriate item upgrade, and then click the "level up" button. The menu will be displayed showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded as well as the necessary amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Typically rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, whereas uncommon armor requires a single blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. When the requirements have been met, the player can then click the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item and rarity, the upgrade process could be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.

Leveling
Leveling is an option that allows you to increase the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. It is achieved by adding upgrades at the Upgrade Station and paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain an upgrade to a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item is attained.
Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked against each other, and can only be added to a single item at a time. Furthermore each upgrade component will require a specific number of items to be added in addition to a minimum level for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can place an item to be upgraded. On the right side, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. Once a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level of an item is 19.
Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. When an item is upgraded to a certain track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into armor, weapons trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give an added bonus or effect while the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted, obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced by new ones, but doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Upgrades to items enable players to increase the stats of certain armors and weapons they already have. The requirements to upgrade an item differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium along with the number of Upgrade Tokens.
The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide added effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources within the game, such as crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is inserted into an object, it is not able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades can boost the Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.
The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for example, increases base defense and gives an additional 20 percent chance of blocking. The dps "Wildfire", however increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial to some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get a perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.
The game will highlight the requirements when you select the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor), the tier of the item, the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
The game will put an item in your inventory after you have met the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show you how far you are to finishing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
