EV Star
GreenPower Motor Company produces a full line of high-floor as well as low-floor all-electric heavy-duty and medium-duty vehicles. The EV Star Cab & Chassis is their flagship model, and it is able to be adapted to suit a wide range of applications. The design of the platform is based on a clean paper sheet, which allows for optimum placement of the battery and a lower center-of-gravity. This leads to better payload/range ratios.
The EV Star REEFERX is designed to serve mid-to-last mile refrigerated delivery and catering. The refrigerated trucks in class 4 with a single wall structure inside and higher insulation than conventional trucks, allows for seamless sanitation and better temperature control. They also have a longer life span. The EV Star REEFERX provides superior cargo capacity and an industry leading payload to range ratio that is ideal for zero emission passenger transport and goods.
GreenPower has joined forces with Perrone Robotics to up-fit the EV Star with their TONY (To Navigate You) autonomous vehicle system, which will allow fleets to seamlessly transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star can also be wirelessly charging up to 75 kW.
We had the chance to test the EV9 for green power electric scooter mobility Scooter (glamorouslengths.Com) a few hours on a local highway and found it to be easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The ride is smooth and smooth over bumps and ruts, while the EV9 does a great job of reducing road noise and wind on the highway. The car's acceleration is surprisingly quick, and it features adjustable regenerative brakes to enable "one-pedal driving" simply by taking off the accelerator.
The EV9 has a great range and can be fully recharged in about three hours at home, or using any commercial charger. The driver can choose from two operating modes - eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode is a great way to increase the power, cruise control and handling, while sport mode increases speed. Both modes are enjoyable to drive and offer an experience unlike any other for those who've never experienced driving an electric vehicle before.
In addition to the EV9, GreenPower has several other electric mobility scooter fastest vehicles, electric scooter green such as a multi-purpose, all-electric minibus called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used as executive shuttles, microtransit and transit buses, vanpools, or paratransit vehicles.
GreenPower is already producing about 10 EV Star buses a month for the Jacksonville Transit Authority, which is working to replace their fleet of old diesel vehicles with 100 all-electric vehicles. GreenPower will increase production to meet the demand of the Biden Administration, which is looking to electrify all school buses in America. Their EV Star buses are the first of their kind to be Altoona tested and FMVSS certified, Buy America compliant, and ADA compliant. This makes them eligible for federal transit grants. Check back as we follow the AV Star on its demonstration tour later this year. We will give more details about this EV that is truly innovative!
