Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats, and sometimes boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and the number of random augmentations can be applied.
For example, the elite shield of racial violence Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses on missile based builds in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens can be used to reroll an acquired item like armor, weapon or ring. This replaces the item with another of the same kind and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are an affordable way to upgrade gear. They don't preserve the original equipment's condition and any wasted resources will not be refunded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods such as the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They are also available in crates and chests or purchase them at the market for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage caused by weapons and melee attacks and spell power upgrades rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades provide the player with an extra health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available in three categories: upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade elevates the item to a higher quality. To create them, you require an upgrade level token to reroll. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is either unique or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
Unlike other special tokens and markers placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays in the space until the next Success result is repeated. This helps you avoid wasting upgrades.
Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase, and are opened by grabbing them using Interact. When they are opened, they will display an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.
During a run, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This changes which blueprints the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
Weapons such as armor, weapons, and other accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that increase the value of an item by improving its stats or characteristics. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. These stones are also available to players who have completed daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being leveled up and the required amount of Growth Stones to achieve this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires just one blue or green Growth Stone.
After deciding on what to upgrade, players need to select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level by a certain percentage. The process of upgrading can last from a few seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.
The upgrade process is also risk-free and doesn't affect the longevity of the item. This makes the system an excellent method for players to get an advantage in combat without putting stress on their bank accounts. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to new one by clicking on the "transfer" tab.
For new players, it can be difficult to acquire Growth Stones. There are many methods to get the stones. You can sign contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, obtain them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or collect them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition, players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.
Leveling
Leveling is an option that lets players boost the stats of their weapons armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an Best item upgrade with upgrade materials and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the maximum level for an item is attained.
Items with upgraded base stats display the blue icon in their slot. Upgrade components, unlike enchantments can't be added to more than one item level upgrade at a time. Additionally, each upgrade component will require a certain amount of items to be used and an appropriate amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can add an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right slot shows a preview of what the gear will look like once it is at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow once a player has sufficient materials will initiate the upgrade process.
A piece of gear can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its stats will increase by a small amount. The maximum level of an item is 19.
When an item is at its maximum level that it can no longer have the option of upgrading. When an item reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armor trinkets, trinkets, or gathering tools to give an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, but doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, except for glyphs that can be removed and replaced at will.
Requirements
Item Upgrades (Lovebookmark.Date) give players the ability to increase certain attributes of weapons and armor they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the type of item, but you'll typically need Dilithium and a number Upgrade Tokens.
The upgrade items can be incorporated into equipment sets and weapons for extra effects or a higher level of the item. These upgrades can be gotten from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, purchased from the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or retrieved from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is added to an item, it can't be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped without restrictions.
Upgrades can boost an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can improve the item upgrading's statistics.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and provides an additional 20% chance to block. Additionally, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.
Upgrades can be beneficial to certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve a perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance, is highly valued by the melee PvP communities and can be worth up to 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
The game will display the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that goes into the item. The game will display the requirements required when you select an upgrade component to slot into an item.
The game will place an item in your inventory after you've fulfilled the requirements for an upgrade. The progress bar will update to show you how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
