World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
The upgrading of your equipment is an essential element of equipping your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item upgrader kit and the ability to enchant.
They also offer bonuses and enhancements. They are available by contacting the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button can be found on any item. Each recycled item adds a level to the gauge for upgrading.
Weapons
When a weapon is upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus, as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. The weapon may also be upgraded with a number of upgrade components, which provide additional features or effects as well as distinctive cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be put into armor, weapons, trinkets, or gathering tools, and they generally require that the equipment have an available upgrade slot and meet certain specifications. The upgrade component can be removed from an armored weapon, weapon or trinket, but it cannot be replaced. (Except for legendary equipment). Upgrade components can be retrieved by using the Black Lion Salvage Kit, Ascended Salvage tool, or high-tier salvaging tool that is attached to an item upgrade.
In addition to the normal upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded with the Calibration Attribute which improves certain stats like Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier the process can be repeated up to four times.
Once the weapon has reached the maximum level of upgrade, it may be reforged using a variety of different upgrade types to boost specific stats or to add bonuses and effects. Many of these upgrades can be applied simultaneously, and the effects are based on the rarity of the weapon.
There are two Blacksmiths in the game who can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area, and Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons, and Somber Smithing Stones to alter the type of damage a weapon can cause.
In general, it's advisable to improve your weapon's damage first. Then you can increase your armor defense, and then, the secondary stats required by your build. It is not uncommon to see melee Druids upgrade their weapon before upgrading other equipment. This can help increase DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments, which can be very efficient in increasing the weapon's damage and other stats.
Armor
item upgrading Upgrades let players improve the base stats of certain pieces of armor, weapons, trinkets and gathering tools. They can also provide other effects, such as an increase in damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades are available through crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, loot drop or as quest rewards.
The quality of armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC, and spending the appropriate currency. Most armor upgrades to the next level following an upgrade. This can be done for all types of armor, though certain items are not upgradeable in any way (such as the armor used to start in Great Sky Island).
Most armor upgrades provide some improvement to an Best Item upgrade's base defense or strength. Certain upgrade components, however can lead to significant increases in strength or defense. This is particularly relevant when upgrading epic items.
Some upgrades provide special abilities which can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, for instance giving a boost to attack speed or blocking. Some upgrades have passive effects that can be beneficial for example, decreasing damage when wearing armor, or increasing the chance to dodge an attack.
Upgrades to armor can require several attempts, depending on the type. For instance for instance, if a player wants to upgrade an existing Steelclash armor to Dragonscale the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with the base defense of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a Dragonscale armor that has a base defense of between 67-77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To do so players must visit each of the four locations referred to as Great Fairy Fountains in the game. Each of these locations is home to the power of a fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to popular belief it isn't a necessity in The Division 2. The reality is that some armors provide significant enhancements to poison, curse, fire or magic damage reduction, which makes them invaluable for certain types of builds. There are other methods to improve armor stats besides upgrading the armor, for instance using the engineer trait to increase armor penetration or the challenger to reduce the weight of the entire armor.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in the brewing stand to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a brand new tier of potion effect, and can be repeated to get more potency levels.
The potion also gains an individual color code, which the player can choose using /give and which alters the area-of-effect clouds and arrows created by the potions. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, common and thick potions and awkward potions now have a different brewing texture. In the Creative Inventory, potion healing and potion weakness are now available. Addition of lingering potions, which can be made with Dragon breath or splash potions. Also added is a thick potion which has the status effect Mining Fatigue. Trinket
A trinket can be an ornament that is small and inexpensive or piece of jewelry. It could be a necklace, ring or even a tiny flag to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It can also refer to a gold-plated trinket on the mast of a vessel.
This macabre trinket appears to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more common. This trinket at the moment, makes all types of mimics more prevalent and gives each floor a Y% chance that it contains an ebony-colored replica. Upgrades to this trinket cost a small amount of energy.
The magic from this enchanted scepter appears to influence the dungeon and making it more likely to create water and grass. At its current level this trinket will make X% of the floors become filled with water or grass, but it doesn't affect enchantments, symbols, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are created to help solve hazard rooms.
While it appears like a normal newt's eye, this mystical item upgrader kit seems to be affecting your vision in ways beyond simply reducing your field of view. This trinket, at its current level, increases the health gained by drinking potions of healing and wells of life by X% and also gives mind sight to enemies within Y tile. This trinket does not stack with the Higher Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after you've completed the Mastery Cave. You can find them by defeating Monsters and chests and crates. They aren't found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
Place the trinket in the Anvil when it needs to be upgraded. This will affect the trinket which is random that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reuse the Trinket as often as you like, but it will always be able to produce the same effect.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets by placing them in a magical catalyst at the Alchemy Station. This will cost 6 energy, however it will increase the power of the trinkets by a small amount.
