Path of Exile item upgrader kit Upgrades

item upgrades (funny post) are a common and important way to improve the performance of a variety of items in Path of Exile. They can provide extra damage, AD or even affixes.

Rare-grade equipment is usually superior to modernized Common or Magic equipment due to their higher requirements.

Armor

Armor upgrades can be applied to both weapon and armor items. They improve the stats of the item that they are connected to. Armor upgrades are available in the world of games and can be purchased from Blacksmiths at bonfires. They can also be salvaged by using a specialist or higher salvage kit to salvage upgrade components from other items.

The level of an armor's or weapon's upgrade determines the amount of damage it is able to take on. A piece of armor upgraded to the highest upgrade level will increase its ability to absorb damage. However, it's important keep in mind that this will raise its weight, requiring it to be heavier than it was before.

There are several kinds of armor upgrades that are available in the game, and they all have different effects. For instance, some upgrades give the armor a certain number of health points while others will make it stronger and lighter. The name of the armor upgrade will indicate the type of upgrade the item can receive, as shown below.

Some of the upgrades also require magic or a hybrid technology and magic, as shown by the "Magic" and "Hybrids" entries in the table below. Certain upgrades require charges to use. They are referred to as "Charges" entries in the table. These charges are constantly updated or never expire based on the upgrade.

Iron Ore is the cheapest option to upgrade your armor. You can find it by exploring and looting small treasure chests. Titanium is more expensive however, it is available through smelters in Orgrimmar and Stormwind City. Some upgrades, like the Reforge or the Hot Potato Books can only be applied to high-level armor pieces. These upgrades can give significant improvements in performance and are worth the cost, especially for single-handed weapons.

A piece of armor upgraded to its maximum upgrade level will significantly boost its defense, but the player should be aware that increasing its weight will drastically reduce its agility and speed. It is not recommended to upgrade armor beyond +9. The boost in defense usually isn't worth the weight and power expenses of the upgrades.

Weapons

Weapon upgrades give players the ability to improve certain aspects of their weapon. Upgrades can improve the accuracy of a rifle, or the damage that shotgun shells cause. Certain weapons come with special upgrades to improve their inherent qualities. These include Frictionless Materials (improves stability and minimizes overheating of the weapon) and Kinetic Coils (increases projectile acceleration for more damage).

The majority of upgrades for weapons require the use of a whetblade, or one of the three Power Dices and a different amount of Minerals and Erons. They can be obtained by doing side quests, or killing a certain number of monsters or bosses, or from the Weapon Upgrade NPC in Central Flarine.

To upgrade the weapon, equipment set piece, or Whetblade You must go to the NPC [ArmorBoboko. Boboko located in Central Flarine, and pay her an upgrade fee of a specific amount of Bars. The higher the upgrade level, the higher the number of bars you will need to complete the upgrade. If you have multiple upgrade materials the cost of upgrading will be less.

In Chapter 2: Season 5, the method of upgrading your equipment and weapon sets has changed a bit. Prior to Chapter 2: Season 5, you could upgrade item your weapon and equipment by paying a specific amount of Bars. You could do this until your weapon or equipment reached its maximum upgrade level and at that point, the upgrades would be reset.

You can still do this, but the process is based on RNG and low on agency. It is better to purchase gear that has low upgrade levels, but high base scores and stat distributions. These will have a better chance of bringing you the most prestigious perks and blessings.

The majority of players will prioritize weapon upgrades for the weapons they most often use to help them level up faster. In addition players, they should also consider upgrading the weapons they use with their teammates to increase their power as well. For instance, Shepard should consider upgrading the M92F to unlock the Beretta M93R to enhance its effectiveness when accompanied by biotech specialists such as Grunt and Tali.

Jewels

Jewels are placed in the sockets of armor and weapons, enhancing the stats of a weapon and providing additional effects. Jewelry crafting is a method for making them, where you combine the gemstone with specific reagents in a jewelry table. The higher the grade of the jewel, the better its secondary effect. These reagents can be gotten from Treasure Goblins and World Bosses around the world, or through collecting Legendary Gear. You can also purchase them from The Jeweler in exchange for Scattered Prisms and gold.

The Jeweler can boost the quality of a gem in stages ranging from Crude up to Royal. Based on the level of the gem it will give different stat boosts when inserted into weapons, gear and jewelry.

All tiers of jewels can be crafted at the Jeweler, with the exception of the rare and legendary jewels which require you to be at a certain level to be able to get the privilege of having them. Jewels can be replaced with another one without damaging the original. You are able to replace the jewel once in an item of equipment.

It is normal to use more jewels for aesthetic reasons. Jewels also enhance performance and create a surface harder than steel, so that the repeated friction from pivots do not cause damage to them.

In addition to the upgrades mentioned above, the player can also get glyphs for their shields and weapons from a Glyphmaster. These are a small perk and can be swapped out at any time but aren't guaranteed to drop as loot. Glyphs can be upgraded as jewelry, by visiting the Jeweler for gold and a Scattered Crystal. Glyphs may also be removed and returned to the inventory. Other upgrade components, such as traits and aegis cannot be swapped out, and are only recoverable by using an Upgrade Extractor or salvaging them with a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool.

Trinkets

Trinkets are small pieces of equipment that offer many tiny but valuable advantages to your hero. They can be acquired starting in the beginning areas as loot, personal story rewards, from vendors, and by doing road interactions. They can be found on the Trading Post, or crafted by jewelers.

The first trinket a player unlocks will be the cloak. It grants a small but useful bonus in speed of movement and the ability to escape. After that, they'll be able to acquire rings, amulets, and necklaces in a similar way to how a player acquires armor and weapons. Every piece of equipment has an upgrade slot which can be universal or jewel. Universal upgrades are smaller and can be utilized on any device. Jewels cannot be upgraded or replaced, and can only be used with certain trinkets.

These trinkets can provide additional bonuses and abilities that are active even when the hero isn't fighting. This lets a hero be more efficient when they are not active. It also helps compensate for the lack of a strong slots in the team or talent tree which would normally be filled by the hero's best stats.

As a general rule trinket upgrades should be prioritized over BiS (Best in Slot) items that you will not replace soon. Also, consider items that have desirable statistics are less significant than the iLevel of the item upgrader kit to be upgraded. This is especially true when you are looking to upgrade multiple stats on an item. It's better to upgrade one important stat rather than two suboptimal ones.

Jungle players often upgrade their yellow trinkets to a red one prior to the beginning of the game. Mid and top players however they will select either a pink or green ward, based on the matchup. These choices can impact the ability of a hero to control the map.

In addition to the items listed above, players will find other trinkets that form of trophies and rewards throughout the game. These can be obtained by completing certain milestones within the story. For instance, finishing the main quest for a chapter or defeating a boss. You can see them by selecting the achievement in the reward section of the hero's menu.
