WoW Upgrades - The Item Upgrader

Upgrades will give you a an increase in certain statistics. Each upgrade increases the level of the item by +3. A random additional substat is also added to each upgrade.

Upgraded gear is generally more valuable, unless the item has a low requirement by nature (like FB sorc shields) or a high stat variance (like eth Titan weapons). Upgrades aren't as important for the latter due to the requirement to roll the perfect version.

Recycle Points

The item upgrader mod upgrader allows players to upgrade gear to a higher item level by providing the appropriate currency to the NPC. Upgrades can be applied on any kind of weapon or armor. The item used to upgrade the item will be consumed and can't be used again. Upgrades can be used to create the enchantments.

The upgrader can be found in every major city, and can be accessed anytime to upgrade your equipment. It is recommended that you visit the upgrader at least once every few weeks to ensure that your equipment is up-to-date.

The cost of upgrades will vary based on the current level of the equipment being upgraded but they will always be less expensive than purchasing new equipment from other sources. Upgrades like upgrading a Benthic chest to ilvl385 will cost you 20 recycle points. A similar item will cost you 105.

Valorstones

Upgrades are items that can be used to upgrade tools, armor, weapon and accessory upgrades. They can be purchased by players from item upgrader NPCs in exchange for various currencies, and can be found in random treasure lists. Once purchased, an upgrade is able to be applied to any tool, weapon, or armor. The button will display the preview of an item's next upgrade level, if there are enough materials.

Upgrade costs vary depending on the slot for the item upgrade (please click the up coming article) and the current item level. For instance weapons cost more than gloves, bracers, or bracers. Each step costs 15 Flightstones and a few crests, with some upgrades offering discounts to reduce the cost of the Flightstones or crests that are used. Once an item has been upgraded to a certain level it is able to be downgraded and sold to the upgrader at a lower price.

Item upgraders can be found in a variety of locations including the main island and some outposts. The NPCs offer an upgrade coupon and the possibility of obtaining an entirely new recipe. The upgrade discount increases as more items are upgraded. It can be increased by having players complete certain achievements or quests.

Contrary to Cromwell in Baldur's Gate II is no item upgrader kit upgrader available at the start of Icewind Dale. Instead, the NPCs that are available to help with upgrades must be acquired through several methods that are both an improvement and a drawback.

In Season 3, many new features were added to the upgrade system. Once an upgrade has been completed to a specific level for an armor slot, upgrading other items to the same item level, will cost less. This is even if those items are from another set of equipment.

The amount of Valorstones needed for upgrades is reduced, and the discount is affixed to all accounts. In the same way, the amount of Harbinger Crests required to upgrade item is also reduced and is not available until players have reached certain milestones in their achievements.

Crests

When upgrading gear in WoW players have a couple of choices. They can make use of Flightstones which are a general upgrade currency available to all players, or crests that are more specialized and consumed during upgrades on specific levels of items. Crests are the main component of the Dragonflight gear progression system, which was introduced in 10.1 and are available in 4 ranks.

The first thing to remember is that crests can only be used on equipment that is of a particular rank, and that each rank has its own requirements for its upgrade path. The most basic and straightforward upgrade process costs just 15 crests while the most complicated can require as much as 20 crests depending on the kind of gear that is being upgraded.

Players can earn crests by working through content that is of the appropriate level, whether that means walking around and doing outdoor activities for lower-tier gear, raids or dungeons with all difficulties for higher-tier items or Mythic+ dungeons or heroic raid bosses for gear that is used in the endgame. The crests can then be exchanged with an item upgrader like Cuzolth or Vaskarn in Valdrakken to upgrade the item in the proper steps and routes.

Utilizing these new currencies isn't too difficult, but the system does introduce some changes to the overall upgrade process. When a piece has reached the highest level of upgrade for any rank (Explorer or Adventurer) it no longer requires Flightstones. This is to allow players to upgrade their equipment to the highest ilvl possible on all their characters rather than relying solely on seasonal loot.

Another notable change is that crests only have one usage therefore it's essential to use them properly. For instance, it's a good idea to utilize all of your Whelpling rank crests with the Best item upgrade equipment available and save Drake and Wyrm crests to use for the next set of upgrades you're planning on making. This is especially true for items like rings and trinkets that fill multiple slots on the character which will only be able to benefit from the discount for all accounts when all slots are filled with top-quality equipment.
