robots that vacuum and mop (check out your url)

Robots that vacuum and clean offer the convenience of cleaning both dry and wet messes in one session, without having to switch devices. They can also save space compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot will have excellent navigation and obstacles avoidance. Look for models that automatically empty their bins and fill up their water tank, and machine-wash their mopping pads using the dock that is specifically designed for them.

1. Eufy S1 Pro

It's among the easiest robots to install that we've tested. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and the quick-start guide will get you up and running with a clean, complete dust bag, floor solution for hard floors and water tank in no time at all.

The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can mop and vacuum well. The mops are spun at a high speed and utilize 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to get rid of pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a range of brushes and attachments, and a user-friendly application that lets you select the type of cleaning robot mop and vacuum you'd like to have for each room.

For instance, you could decide to let the robot clean up the living and kitchen but take it easy in the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors as well as smart navigation technology. It can detect small obstacles that other models cannot. Its only minor issue is that it can hit objects and walls at full speed - but a quick glance at the cleaning history in the app will tell you exactly what it's doing, where it's going and what obstacles it's avoided.

The docking station comes with a handy LCD screen that shows when maintenance is needed like emptying the debris and rinsing the dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent automatically into the water tank by using a 600ml bottle filled with eufy's own solution.

Both the S1 Pro mop and auto vacuum and mop have a long run time. The mop is able to run for 184 minutes in Quiet Mode and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in standard mode, before needing to recharge or returning back to the base. And you can see the entire cleaning information in the app, which is well laid out and easily understood, though we would like to be able distinguish between a vacuum and a vacuum/mop clean when examining a cleaned area in the cleaning history.

2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's most popular robot vacuum and mop is the most recent version. The model of this year features two agitators built into its mopping pad. This improves the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has enhanced suction power, which allows it to remove small hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners may be unable to pick up.

Like the other two Roborock models I've tested the S8 Pro Ultra has a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance and infrared technology that can help it avoid walls, furniture and other obstacles. However, the S8 Pro Ultra takes things an extra step by incorporating a dual camera that can recognize objects and determine whether they're a wall or another type of surface. It can then change its direction automatically and clean around the objects, without missing a step.

It's the most expensive robot I've ever tested however it also comes with the most features. Its sleek, angular style is eye-catching and it has just three physical buttons which include the power button that also resumes cleaning; a mop-only switch that doubles as a child lock; and a home button to return the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals 350ml of dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank automatically empties and the bin fills up automatically.

The only issue I encountered with this model was that the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't removable. Although you can change the mopping cloth (if needed) however, it's a hassle to take off the mount itself for manual washing. I've found any plush carpet that the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener system on the mounts, which can cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart capabilities, including support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app lets you manage and configure these smart features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app also lets you to schedule cleanings, track battery life and component maintenance. You'll need to go through a series of steps to activate voice control on this model. It's a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.

3. Dreame X40

The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop that has incredible suction power, sophisticated mowing capabilities, and ingenuity features. Its innovative design allows for personalized and efficient cleaning, while also saving time.

The X40 is the first robotic vacuum cleaner to deliver 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which easily makes it one of the best robot vacuum options available. This powerful vacuum is able to clean up pet hair, crumbs and other dry debris. It comes with a mop that is top quality that cleans hard floors without the use of pads. The X40 is also very quiet in operation with only occasional bursts during mode changes or self-maintenance.

Another notable feature is the X40's extendable and liftable side brush, which lets it get into difficult-to-access corners and clean curved furniture like table and chair legs. The robot can also reach under furniture with low profile which makes it an ideal option for smaller apartments or condos. The side brush tilts automatically down when it spots wet spots. This is a wonderful feature that helps the X40 to avoid damaging floors by the frequent back-and-forth movement.

Contrary to other robots, which are restricted to a single task, the X40 can vacuum and mop at the same time. It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors and not skip carpeted areas, or vice versa. It can be controlled through the Dreame app or by using Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for a seamless voice-controlled operation.

The app is simple to use and understand, and the X40 has many smart features that are easy to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, see floor plans and maps and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also track its progress and notify you when it's done.

The X40 is easy to maintain and has many features which make it a good choice for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the trash bin into a 3.2 L bin, cleans mop pads and refills them with clean water and a cleaning solution. It can also detect if the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and alert you to the situation before it spills.

4. L20 Ultra

The L20 Ultra is a high-end robot that is among the most expensive models available, but it packs in a lot of extra features that distinguish it from. Smart DuoScrub is a brand new feature on its mops, uses two high-speed mop heads to scrub floors more thoroughly. It also has a suction force of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also clean pet hair, small dirt particles and remove spills and dirty spots.

The mops are also cleaned and dried inside the base station after every use. This is a great feature because it stops mould and unpleasant odours from accumulating in the storage. It also makes the mop system more efficient. This is an option we haven't seen on other robot mop or vacuum mop cleaner robot models. It could be a great way to keep your home clean longer.

There's an impressive amount of options available which include the ability to schedule cleaning times and adjust a number of different preferences. The app allows you to make these settings or make use of the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and provides a variety of options to customize the cleaning process, and there are numerous functions that other robots don't include, such as the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power whenever it detects dust particles rather than using an individual setting.

The L20 Ultra is also one of the most stylish robots we've seen on market, sporting a white and metallic design that looks classy and sophisticated. It's a little heavier than the other two-in-one robots in this list - at 4kg - but it's not obscenely heavy either, and it is sturdy and well-built. The mopping system is also well designed and the double-rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. The MopExtend feature allows them to reach up to 2mm below baseboards.
