Lightest Double Stroller
When looking for a light double stroller weight and fold dimensions are important factors to take into consideration. Choosing one that's simple to use and compact when not when not in use makes it much easier to place in the trunk of your car and navigate through airport gates and lightest double Stroller streets.
The most lightweight double stroller strollers have a lightweight, easy fold and self-standing mechanism that helps reduce the strain on parents' bodies. Many strollers have multiple seating configurations and some can even accommodate car seats for infants.
Kolcraft Cloud Plus
The design is geared towards families on moving. Lightweight with a convenient one-hand compact fold. All-terrain wheels, front suspension and multi-position reclining seat allow children to weigh up to 50 lbs. The tray for parents and children as well as a large storage bin and a three-tiered canopy that has a windows that peek out at the sun provide maximum protection.
The Cloud was awarded one of the lowest marks in our tests of quality because it has a thin seat made of hard plastic and a design that feels dated. It's also more expensive than other strollers that are lighter and is therefore not the best choice if you're looking for a budget option.
While it's not the most light double stroller, it does have enough features worth a look. Its swiveling wheels make easy to maneuver it on flat surfaces. It can also jump curbs without much effort. The Cloud's low, almost knee-high handle is a drawback. It's not adjustable, and it's not adjustable. It's difficult to push it while your legs are hanging in that way. And the absence of padding doesn't make it any easier.
In our tests, we discovered that the Cloud was simple to set up and use. It's a little more challenging to close, however. You need to slide a slider and then pull a big white button for it to collapse. This can be a hassle particularly if you're trying to keep track of kids while doing it.
The Cloud comes with a small but deep storage basket that could accommodate a medium-sized diaper bag. It's a bit narrow however you'll probably need to put something in to reach the back to retrieve it. The Cloud has two tray for parents and children with two cup holders however, they're too narrow to accommodate larger bottles or cups.

Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS
Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS is an extremely lightweight, minimalist double stroller that is great to travel with. It weighs only 18lbs and is lighter than other single to double buggy strollers. and it folds flat for easy transportation and storage. It also comes with independently reclined seats, as well as large SPF50 sunvisors that have a peekaboo window. The visors can be adjusted to accommodate children of different heights. Additionally, it comes with one-step linked parking brake that is Disney-sized approved.
The swivel wheel feature of Jeep is also ideal for maneuvering over bumps and uneven terrain. This stroller does not accept car seats. Your child must be at least six months old and have a good neck control to use the front seat. It does have an attractive, three-panel sun canopy, however and each seat comes with its own snack tray and cup holders for the parents.
Another extremely light side-by-side stroller is the Valco Baby Snap Trend. It's heavier than Kolcraft Cloud Plus, at 23 pounds. However, it's narrower and slimmer (26.5 inches wide!) It's got a lot of elegant details that make it perfect for travel. It folds easily and very easy to move around. It also fits easily in overhead compartments and trunks of planes.
The Joovy Kooper X2 tri-folds and is ultralight, just like the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ Double or Mountain Buggy Nano Duo. It's pretty similar to the Jeep Destination Ultralight SBS, however, it does have some key distinctions. It's a bit more expensive, but it offers a more shady sun canopy and better maneuverability. It comes with a convenient strap for carrying and can hold children who weigh up to 44 pounds for each seat.
Summer 3D Pac CS+ for infants
If you're seeking a stroller which is light but packed with features you'll find it in the Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+. It is not only incredibly lightweight at just 13 lbs but also comes with a ton of storage, including cupholders for both parents and children as well as a sippy-cup pouch for children, a parent's storage pocket and more. It can also be used with a child's car seat and comes with a brake with a flip-flop feature that is easily engaged. It's designed to evolve with your children from a baby stroller to a toddler twin stroller by simply attaching the car seat adapters (sold separately) and is suitable for children aged 6 months old and older.
Another thing to note about this stroller is that it has swivel wheels and doesn't have locking capabilities therefore it may not be the best option for rocky or sloping terrain. It's still a good option for most families, as it is easy to maneuver on pavements and other smooth surfaces.
This is among the most compact and lightweight double strollers that comes with full-size features. It folds by one hand and then put away in the garage or trunk. It can also be used as a travel stoller and is compatible without additional adapters with most car seats.
The Summer Infant 3D Pac CS+ is unique from other lightweight travel strollers because it has two separate seats that can each hold up to 100 lbs. The seats come with a multi-position recline, individual leg rests, as well as 3-panel canopies that have flip-out sun visors and windows that peek out.
The seats are cushioned to ensure your child's comfort. They also come with five-point safety harnesses which can be adjusted to three different height positions. Each has a built-in infant cushion, which is perfect for babies. The cup holders for parents and child, the phone holders, and the huge storage basket will be loved by parents. The stroller can also be outfitted with the Yoyo+ Board, which transforms it into an e-bike.
Joovy Kooper X2
The Kooper X2 is an excellent choice for parents seeking a stroller that is light and can carry two children. The sling-style seats are comfortable, and they offer the same amount of headroom as other double strollers. This allows children to sit together. In contrast to other strollers that are side-by-side this one Kooper X2 offers a fully reclined seat that is a great option for napping. Its recline mechanism is simple to operate, but it doesn't go really flat. Kids who are taller may notice a dangling leg when sitting in the reclined position. It also has a large canopy that we found to be more effective in blocking out sun than other options in our evaluation of the top double strollers.
The stroller is light enough to easily navigate through door frames, which was a major problem for us with some other models in our testing. It folds easily and its handlebars sit close to the ground for easy transport. Its only downside is its small storage space, which can feel tight when stuffed with things for kids.

During our lab tests of double strollers, we look at multiple factors to determine how simple the stroller is to use, such as the ease of use to fold and set up and adjust the safety harness, close and open the brakes, raise and carry the folded stroller as if it were to be placed in a trunk of a car, and also install and remove the infant car seat (if applicable). We've also assessed the durability and strength of each model, and whether it comes with a parent tray that can be used for both child tray.
