Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades
Upgrading gear increases its base stats and sometimes increases its other features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.
For instance, the top racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP, or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the unupgraded version.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an acquired item like armor, weapon, or ring. This swaps the current item for another similar one, with a different set of extra bonuses. Reroll tokens are an affordable method of upgrading gear. However, they don't keep the same level as the original Best item upgrader and any resources wasted will not be refunded.
The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods like the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or purchase them from the store for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to alter an attribute of an item for example, increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.
Players can roll equipment with three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power boost the damage caused by weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power boost mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades give the player additional health.
Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades an item to a higher-quality, with the requirement of a higher-level reroll token in order to produce it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a unique or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.
The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space till the next Success is to be rerolled. This allows you to prevent the waste of upgrades.
Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of each Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they display an image and description of the Ingredient or Appliance. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's store for the amount of coins.
In the course of an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer to reroll, and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.
Growthstones
In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that can increase the quality of an item by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be obtained by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a fee. These stones can also be obtained by players who complete daily contracts.
To upgrade equipment players must first identify the appropriate item, and then click on the "level up" button. This will display a list of the item's levels and what it will become after being upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade the item. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After choosing the item to upgrade, the player has to select the number of Growth Stones that they want to purchase and pay the cost. After the player has met the requirements, they can hit the upgrade button and apply the Growth Stones. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item the upgrade process can be as quick as a few seconds to minutes.
The upgrade process also is risk-free and will not affect the Best item upgrade's longevity. It's an excellent option for players who want to gain an advantage in battle but don't want burden their wallets. Clicking on the "transfer tab", players can also transfer the experience and progress of an upgraded item to the new gear.
The process of acquiring Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for novice players. However, there are numerous ways to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, collecting them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. Players can also break down higher-level Growth Stones into multiple lower-level stones.
Leveling
Leveling is a feature that allows players to increase the base stats of weapons, armor, helms, and trinkets. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials and then pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will receive a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item has been reached.
Items with upgraded base stats display an icon of blue in their slot. upgrade items components, unlike enchantments, can't be added to more than one item at a time. Additionally each upgrade component will require a certain amount of items to be applied in addition to an initial amount for the equipment.
The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left, players can add an item to be upgraded. On the right side, a preview shows what the gear will look like at its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after is a player has enough resources will begin the upgrade process.
A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded the base stats of an item will increase by a small amount. The maximum level for an item is 19.
Once an item reaches its maximum level and is no longer upgraded, it does not have the option of upgrading. Once a piece of equipment attains a certain upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.
Upgrade components are a form of equipment that can be inserted into weapons, armors trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons in order to provide an additional effect or benefit while the equipment is in use. They can be bought through vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so will destroy the previous upgrade, with the exception of for glyphs which can be removed and replaced freely.
Requirements
Upgrades to items allow players to increase certain attributes of armor and weapons they already have equipped. The requirements for upgrading an Best item upgrade will differ based on the type of item however, you'll usually require Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade tokens.
Items can be upgraded by adding item upgrade components to equipment and weapons. These will provide additional effects or an increase in level of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, including crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses or raids, or collected from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an object it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.
Upgrades to an item level upgrade can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.
For instance, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" increases base defense, and also provides an additional 20% chance to block. In addition the dps enhancement "Wildfire" increases damage to weapons.
Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players if they can get the perfect roll. A perfect-rolled 200/6 500 armor set piece, for instance is highly coveted by melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display an in-game window that lists the necessary requirements. These include the type of item (either Weapon or Armor) and the tier of the item and the Upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading The game will then place the item upgrader mod in your inventory and the progress bar will change to show how close you are to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
