Path of Exile item upgrading (visit the next page)
In Path of Exile, item upgrading is one of the best ways to improve your equipment without relying on large-ticket drops or trade. This article will help you understand how to upgrade your items.
Upgrades in equipment can add an additional bonus to the item's base stats. The bonus increases with upgrade component level and rarity.
Components
Upgrade components make your weapons and armour better. You can find them by destroying enemies, purchasing them from karma sellers or finding them in items-spheres. You can also salvage them from equipment that has the components or by using high-tier salvage kits such as Black Lion Salvage Kit and Ascended Salvage Tool. Unlike most other items, upgrade components are not destroyed when removed from an item.
The main function of upgrade components is to allow an item to be upgraded however, they also serve other functions. They can be stacked to increase the level of the amount of experience gained by upgrading equipment or weapons. They can be forged for extra bonuses. A glyph that is crafted can boost the chances of upgrading its target, while a boost upgrade increases the attack or defense capabilities of a weapon.
You can attach an upgrade template to an item by selecting it from the edition GUI. This will display the list of upgrade components that the item can be upgraded to. You can also make use of the workbench to choose an upgrade template. In either instance, the item will be upgraded after enough upgrade components have been collected.
Each component has its own experience multiplier. This determines the amount of experience an item will gain when upgraded with that component. Organic components, like, have an increased multiplier of experience than mechanical components. It is therefore best to upgrade using organic components until you reach the multiplier of experience for the next rank of weapon or gear, and then change to mechanical upgrades.
Each item comes with an upgrade maximum number that can be received. The number of upgradeable items is determined by their upgradeable rank and the type of upgrade they are able to receive. For instance, the highest possible weapon upgrade items is a weapon with tier 10. However, the most common upgrade for weapons is the tier 6 weapon and a tier 5 armor upgrade.
Sets
A set is a collection of items that have the benefit of. Each item in the set can be upgraded at least once, and each upgrade boosts the amount of bonuses that are guaranteed. When you first upgrade an item, its initial stat will be +1. Following upgrades, primary stats are enhanced even more (for instance the +1 bonus for 12+/13+/14+) and each time an item is upgraded, one of its additional stats increases randomly.
Upgrades can also boost a weapon's damage base. This may be important for certain types of builds. However, weapons cannot be upgraded to have a higher maximum defense roll than their regular base. It is possible to increase the value of certain sets and unique items by upgrading them, however they might not always be superior to a high-level Runeword.
If you are upgrading an item with a bonus the item can be rerolled once, and its guarantee will reset back to zero. The same power dies are used to reroll an item, just as it would be to level it up. However, the new item has different bonuses. The NPC [ArmorBoboko Boboko can upgrade your armor in Central Flarine. To upgrade an item, you will require the required amount of Minerals and Erons as well as a power dice of each type. These can be purchased by using Gold at the crafting table or in the Ultra Collection. The NPCs will also offer special rewards for each completed stage of the upgrade process. This reward is rerollable once and will be made using the same materials as the first item.
Rerolling
A player is able to reroll any item acquired in the game if they have enough tokens to do so. When an upgraded item gets rerolled, it will be exchanged for the version that is level 1 of the same item from a different set. Reroll tokens are available at the store for a small amount of in-game currency. They are not refundable. The new item will have the same bonuses as the previous one, but the statistics will also be different.
In addition to rerolling items players can also change the identification of any equipment by engaging with an upgrader NPC. The equipment's identification will change from a weapons to armor, or reverse it. The base stats and requirements will remain the same. The change is permanent and will affect all characters who own the gear in question.
Players can also boost the level of an item upgrade equipped equipment by obtaining upgrade items and conversing with the NPC who upgrades the item. This will cost a certain amount of crests and Valorstones according to the upgrade track and kind. Each upgrade will add an additional 5% of damage to weapons.
Upgrading an item can make it more powerful, but it will reduce its effectiveness. Therefore, it is crucial to strike a balance between the two. Certain items aren't worth upgrading, whereas others require upgrading to maximize their potential. For example, a player might wish to upgrade a piece breakpoint armor with an interesting modifier (% chance to block or FHR) to discover what it could become.
Rerolling is a common practice in Genshin Impact and other gacha-based games. People do it to gain access to a character or weapon they would not otherwise be able to acquire. Getting these items can be expensive and time-consuming and the RNG gods aren't always willing to play. The only options left are to invest real money or grind for a long time. Rerolling is extremely popular in Genshin Impact.
Leveling
You can select whether to upgrade the weapon or armor when upgrading an item. This feature is not available in the current version of the game. I believe it was designed to be a way to give some value to rare items, but as the majority of gear drops quickly and can only be upgraded after a certain amount of levels it is likely that you will replace the item upgrade before it becomes too old. It is also not worth upgrading items with gem sockets since the power of the gemstone will outweigh any increment in the level of.
If you click the upgrade option on an item level upgrade, you will be presented with a small window displaying the upgrade template of the item as well as the cost of Valorstone and crest to increase the level of the item. Armor and weapons will have different costs, with the latter generally being more expensive. The upgrade template outlines the stats to be added to an upgraded item, along with its current base ilvl.
The cost of the Valorstone and Crest is calculated using the item's current Ilvl and the upgrade templates. The ilvl will also be reduced by the upgrade template's reduction percentage of lvl. For instance the weapon that has an 8% upgrade decrease will decrease its ilvl by 8 - 8 percent.
The item will get upgrades to other stats, like critical strike damage, PvE damage, and block, parry, and dodge rating in addition to the base ilvl. These increases are also based off the upgrade template.
The amount of defense and damage the item is able to receive when it is leveled can be seen below the cost and upgrade decrease percentages in the upgrade template window. Apart from the practice equipment, all other items and armor get these same stats when upgraded. The market determines the value of these stats. A weapon or armor that has perfect rolls can fetch a much higher price than a non-upp’d version. The same applies to other pieces of armor, such as tiaras and circlets.
