Transparent device that can evolve certain Pokemon species. Silph Co. produced it.
The item upgrade upgrader is an additional widget to the top of both the Angel and Cash Upgrade Windows. The Manager is priced at 33 billion Angel Investors and offers no gameplay benefit aside from making it easier to view and purchase upgrades.
Boosters
There are a myriad of boosts you can get with an upgrader. They can include a range of stats, in addition to a number of extra bonuses. These bonuses can be incorporated into weapons or armor, as well trinkets. They can be used to boost the capabilities of a character, or give a new dimension of variety to their build.
The upgrade system in World of Warcraft allows players to increase the quality of their gear by paying currencies at an item upgrader NPC. The system was introduced in Mists of Pandaria and was expanded with the introduction of Warlords of Draenor. It's a great way to increase the quality of your equipment, allowing you to skip the tedious grind of completing quests and avoid numerous wipes in Mythic+ dungeons.
When an item is upgraded the type of item it is upgraded to. The upgrade of a normal item will result in an item that is Exceptional and upgrading an Exceptional item will result in an Elite version of the base item. The item will keep all of its pre-upgrade statistics, but will also gain an additional bonus due to its new base type. The bonus will be randomly selected from the following: a chance to obtain weapons with a higher damage range, a chance to obtain an improved reload speed, or the chance to obtain an increased defense roll.
The number of upgrades you perform will determine the amount of extras you get. Each upgrade will boost the extras by a maximum of 3 points. In addition, each upgrade will also increase the stat that is used to determine the main one by one.
In addition to the stat increases certain upgrades can also give a random secondary boost. These boosts are useful and should be taken into consideration when deciding on which items to upgrade. Certain boosts can only be used in certain builds (such the Whistan's Shield, which is for FB Sorcs) While others are beneficial to collectors.
Certain items come with a built-in boos that is not useful when upgraded. For example the Goldwrap provides extra potion slots. They are often upgraded to add value to a close-to-perfect or perfect item.
Costs
Upgrades come with some associated costs. The first is the cost for the upgrade. This cost can be expensive and is dependent on the new level of the item as well as the number of perks it gets. Upgrades to higher levels (such as Explorer to Champion or Veteran to Heroic) can be expensive.
The other is the cost of the items needed to upgrade. These items are typically Power Dices (dropped from monsters 21+), Minerals and Erons, or specific Mists of Pandaria or Warlords of Draenor Quests. These materials can be found in the inventory of an Upgrade Vendor.
Upgrades to an item upgrades are an intricate process that takes time. It can take 8 hours, depending on the magnitude of the upgrade. The upgraded item's base stats are calculated by using the item's new ilvl bonuses, perks, and other properties. This calculation determines the new Armor Class bonus, damage dice, as well as other important statistics. In some cases the upgrade can grant additional advantages that can be picked from a list of available perks.
In rare instances, the upgrade will replace only the highest-costing bonuses. The upgrader may also make other modifications to the item, like changing the type of damage it deals to its weapon or eliminating an operational or unwieldy option. The cost for these modifications is determined by the item's new ilvl, and it could require a special material, such as the adamantine alloy.
Success Rate
The upgrading of an item is dependent on chance. Like any random system there is a chance that it will not succeed. There are a number of ways to increase your chances of success. These include the use of an item known as an Upgrade Pity or the addition of extra items to the upgrade.
An Upgrade Pity is an item you can purchase from the smithing NPC in Lost Ark. It increases the chance of an upgrade being successful by a certain percentage. It is similar to the luck bonus some items come with but is more stable. It can be added to any weapon or armor, and is used three times.
You can also add other materials to the upgrade to increase its chances of success. These are shown in a window above the + button. There are some limitations. The maximum amount of material you can upload is shown directly above the + button.
Another method to increase the chance of an upgrade achieving success is by using the item known as Blacksmith Blessing or an upgraded version of it. This item is useful if you have a weapon or piece of equipment that is at the highest level for its tier or is close to it. It will allow you to upgrade the equipment to the next level without worrying about it breaking.
If an upgrade items fails, the system will be returned to its initial state. This is usually an error, but it could also be an upgrade. Keep an upgrade in reserve until you are nearing the maximum level of an item.
There are several items in the Kafra shop that can be used to improve the odds of a successful upgrade. For instance upgrading an equipment with HD Oridecon or HD Elunium multiple times will provide you with a higher chance of success. Also, increasing the chances to receive a Double Mint from Shoe-Minting a maximum of five times will also increase the success rate.
Failure Rate
The upgrader of an item allows players to add a second slot in their equipment. The slots can be used to upgrade an item or apply an enchantment. However, it is important to know that not all items can be upgraded. The rank of an item determines the rate at which it can be upgraded and enchanted. The higher the rank, the more Zen and the items you'll need to upgrade it.
This system can be very expensive, especially for high-level gear. It can cost between 100,000 Z and 100 Carnium to upgrade an armor or weapon. The rate of success decreases as you progress in rank. However, you can utilize cash shop items to increase the chance of upgrading your item efficiently.
Normal Upgrade is a basic upgrade that can only be applied to armor, weapons and bikes. It consumes different grades of core depending on the kind of item. In general, lower quality items require less expensive cores, whereas higher grade ones require more expensive ones.

The arrows to the left of the UI depict the various stages of the upgrade process. Click the question mark icon to receive help if you are unsure what you're doing. The upgrade process could take as long as five minutes.
